We received an email that said we could have early check in at 10 am for €50, the day before we were to arrive. When we went to the checking desk, the lady that checked us in was adamant that we could not get into the room early. We had arrived for that check in from the airport just before 10. I told her about the email that I had and she looked like she didn’t believe me so I did pull my phone out and tell her the email that I had received, at that point, she was more gracious and said we would be first on the list for a clean room. We received a call about 45 minutes later saying our room was available.

On the Sunday evening of our stay we were advised that the hotel bar was no longer serving but that we could order room service if we were in our room. Upon returning to our room and calling for room service we were told that wasn’t an option due to lack of staff.

Hotel is average, hotel and rooms are clean but carpet needs to be replaced as it has a lot of stains. Neighborhood is super quiet and not too far from a street with a bunch of pubs and places to eat.

The staff were lovely. The rooms were clean & comfortable. We had one overlooking the canal. There are a couple of busy pubs nearby & it's set back from a busy road but we werent disturbed. There isn't a proper dining room at night, just tables in the bar area but the food was good. We used taxis but there are decent transport links nearby
