Waking up to the breathtaking desert view was a moment I will never forget. The expansive pool and comfortable sunbeds provided the perfect escape from the midday heat. During my stay, I had breakfast every day at Zala restaurant, where every staff member was friendly and attentive. I especially want to thank Amro, who took such great care of me throughout all three mornings—his kindness made every breakfast feel special. At the poolside bar, Jimmy became a truly wonderful friend during my trip. Unfortunately due to school for our kids we are only able to travel in summer and we were surprised to find out on arrival that it was closed. Additionally the new pool policies are not family friendly the pool to the left was changed to adults only and closes later than the pool on the right which closed at 7 I would suggest as a guest who has been there 4 years in a row is to perhaps have the pool remain open later for all guest especially in the desert where day swimming may be limited in summer and there are also limited activities. Keeping the pool open til 10pm. The Adult Pool was a key feature and Jimmy at the pool bar was excellent as were the breakfast staff. The Garden Terrace room was not as luxurious as I had expected sadly although the time of year did affect this also (early sunsets, mosquitos).
