staff at front desk rude unprofessional not helpf
the staff at front desk were rude, unwelcoming, and not helpful at all. I had to bring my own luggage in the lobby and then to my room. NO TIP WAS GIVEN FOR THAT REASON. ALL THEY WANTED TO COLLECT THE MONEY FOR TAXES, WITHOUT RECEIPT, I was in front of them and after many minutes of arguments, he decided to issue me receipt with MR. i asked him do I look like a MAN , I am a female., just on a piece of paper no official receipt was given, other customers were in the lobby desk, fighting with the staff on unprofessional issues, of keeping there passport, knocking on their room door at 3 am in the morning, Had breakfast there one day out of desperation for $20 dheram it was awful, food had so much chilliest, my mouth was burning, food was not labeled to say what it was. local calls were charged, no basic comfort for out of the country tourist. i was left to be on my OWN. Asked to speak to manager, NEVER GOT THAT. staff speaking over each other, couldn't understand the conversation. VERY UNPROFESSIONAL ATMOSPHERE. VERY DISAPPOINTED. WHEN I TOOK SHOWER, WATER WAS ALL OVER THE FLOOR ALL DAY LONG, SHOWER CURTAIN WAS SHORT AND ALL THE WATER GOT ON THE FLOOR. housekeeping staff did their best with what they are given, they were very polite housekeeping staff.

Good for a budget stay.
the hotel location is good. The standard of service is very good. I will consider the condition of the flats to be satisfactory. Not something luxurious. However, I would say the facilities in the aprtments are very good.

Very friendly helpful staff. Rooms clean if starting to look a little worn in places. Washing machine, fridge freezer, microwave and hob if you want to cook yourself. Supermarket 100 yds away.

RUBBISH HOTEL WITH RUBBISH SERVICE, DO NOT COME
Extremely poor hotel with extremely useless and incompetent and rude staff. I would never ever come to this hotel again and would never recommend anyone to come to this CRAP hotel because they will simply spoil your holiday and give you headache and nothing seems to work in the hotel and if you raise any concern then they will simply ignore and won't listen to you and it does not matter how many times you call them. WIFI never works in the hotel and useless staff have no clue about it. EXTREMELY DISSAPPOINTED

Very Nice
I really like staying at the winchester hotel. The room was very big ,the staff was very courteous and polite.The only thing is the size of the bathroom but it's not a deal breaker because the room made up for it.

Good. Economical.
We really liked the stay. The hotel staff is simply superb. However, some technical issues like the room keys functioning, wifi service needs some improvement like if the wifi password is reset you should automatically get an email of the new password until your stay the the Winchester hotel apartments.

Dirtiest hotel ever stayed in
This room is by far on of the worst rooms I have ever stayed in. When I checked in everything was extremely dirty, the service was horrible and a lot thing just didn't work one of these things were the refrigerator and when we asked for a replacement the brought an extremely dirty one. The whole hotel smelled absolutely horrible and there was an absolutely disgusting blood stain next to the master bed, I almost vomited. This hotel shouldn't be open for business.

Very nice hotel apartments
On our arrival a member of staff called khadija was horrendous rude and did not give us a room until I spoke to the manager 3 hours later, who told her to sort our rooms out immediatley. After this everything else was pretty smooth and nice. Room was very spacious cleaners came everyday. Our cleaner on floor 7 was brilliant and very attentive. Bath tub was a bit discoloured. But overall a great room. Gym facilities were good but roof top pool was not cleaned so could not swim and sauna was out of order for the duration of our stay 7days. The day time security officer and luggage person Gurda were absolutley brilliant. There knowledge and customer service was outstanding. They should be running the reception. They greeted us every time we left and eneteres through there day shift. Shuttle service provided by hotel was very good drivers were fantastic and it was a great way to explore.

This is my third time staying in this hotel. I stayed in one of studio rooms. The beddings and towels are old and needs replacing. Generally, I enjoyed my stay.

Only issue was the breakfast was open until 10:00 but two days in running they had run out of things before 10:00.

From the first moment I arrived I knew this was going to be awful experience. The check in was long, the internet didn't work and the security staff were rude. On top of that their were no towels on the bathroom and when I had a shower I slept on the wet floor and hit my head on the toilet seat (I was lucky to be alive) bleeding and disorientated I called reception for help twice and none came. I went down and ask for help and they said do I want a taxi. I went to the hospital and when I came back nobody asked how I was even three days later when I was checking out. I would not recommend my worst enemy to stay in here and I travel and stay over 25 hotels a year all over the world.

This is a bit of a mixed review. For the positives: The staff of the hotel were excellent in terms of their service. Especially Grace at reception who did all her best to make my family, friends and I comfortable. The porter and cleaners were also very friendly and helpful. We had a 3-bed apartment and this was a very spacious. Not so positive: The hotel facilities definitely need an upgrade. The air-conditioning kept getting cut-off and maintenance had to come in a few times to fix this. My friends who were also in the hotel (this was a group holiday of family and friends), had to have their rooms changed because they were given rooms that smelt badly of cigarettes smoke although they had clearly stated they wanted 'non-smoking rooms'. The gym facilities are quite old and could do with upgrade of new equipment and general refurbishment. I found the check-in process a bit slow but this may have been as a result of our large group. Overall though, I have given the rating of 3. My family and I had a good time in Dubai and the hotel was close to many hot spots, train station, malls etc. If amenities and hotel is given a refurbishment, I would consider staying here again.

I stayed for a month with family. Was a satisfying stay. 1 bed room was quite comfortable with large equipped kitchen, 2 TVs, large balcony, daily housekeeping facilities. There are supermarkets nearby. Nice location with easy access to metro, cinemas, restaurants and shopping.

As we only used the hotel for accommodation purposes (leave straight after breakfast and return late at night), myself and my family just accepted what was available. But, I was disappointed on the status of the room, the furniture looked very old, we itched quite a bit through out most of our stay. Most plugs did not work, we had to ask for them to be repaired, the door card key kept on not working, so we had to call for someone to get us a new card (this was very annoying and upsetting as we come back late and have kids that are tired, all we need is get into our room) Breakfast is not great. Some of the staff at reception would talk to you as if they own the hotel. All other staff were helpful and always smiling.

Staff were very friendly & helpful. The shuttle bus service was excellent since it is a bit out of the centre. The room was an apartment with washing machine & some cooking facilities. Very self contained. Would stay there again.
