The gardens were lovely and we played a game at a table in the evening. The beds were rather soft and the room definitely wasn’t sound-proof. The major downside was that the welcome wasn’t very warm. We rang the wrong door and whoever answered was pretty gruff. When we went in the front door, the wife immediately took our money (processed credit card) but gave us little information about where we could go in the house. We felt like we were invaders. However, later, the tone was much different.
