Access to the gardens and beautiful Worcestershire countryside on the doorstep. The Retreat and gardens provide space for reading, relaxation and quality time with loved ones. Say hi to our Indian runner ducks or bantam chickens. Peaceful and tranquil, a place to relax, enjoy walks and good food at the local village restaurants and tea rooms. The Retreat offers Private Studio accommodationand a private patio with hot tub to relax together with extensive gardens. Comprising 1 King bed, an ensuite shower room, cloakroom and a kitchen area with sink, fridge, microwave, small oven with double hobb, toaster and kettle. ♻️ Fold up bed and cot available for children. Table and chairs also available together with outdoors furniture The hot tub charges are included and Towels are provided for hot tub use. The hot tub is available for use by guests for minimum stays of 2 nights and is for your private use for your stay. This has a Gazebo so is accessible in rainy weather. Should anyone visiting you wish to use the hot tub please let us know as there will be a small charge We provide heating in the Retreat in winter months morning and evening which is included in the costs. For winter months should you wish to use our snug and log burner during the day or evening we can provide logs and kindling for £10 a pack by prior arrangement Only Cereals,milk, and tea/coffee/sugar are provided in The Retreat for a light breakfast. We can provide special hampers with Farm produce if required. We have a sweet hamper with chocolates biscuits, treats and prosecco or a savoury hamper with cheeses, biscuits, and chutneys or ham/tapas. Or a mixed hamper. These can be made up ready for your arrival. Please contact us in advance to order. A travel cot is also available. The studio includes the cost of 2 adults Additional persons are payable when booking at £20pp per night to cover the cost of bed linen, towels and continental breakfast. Max 3 adults or 2 adults and 2 children. Children under 2 are free. There is a fee for pets of £20 Facilities also include a tv with free view, additional blankets and throws. There are games and books available for your use. Feel free to walk in our lovely gardens, there are tables and chairs and a barbecue. Please let us know when booking if you would like to use the barbecue so that we can have it ready for you. We also have a fire pit and kiln dried logs and lighters are available for £10 We have outdoor games which may also be used. We thoroughly clean the Retreat after each guest visit, wherever possible leaving space between visits. We clean and sanitize all areas, wash all linen, and clean utensils and equipment including the fridge and microwave. We provide anti bacterial soap and sanitizer for our guests to use together with towels, and cleaning equipment. We are always at hand should you need anything further. Guests are welcome to walk in the extensive gardens but please note that we may also be enjoying our gardens. There are 2 ponds one with fish and the other is home to our Indian runner ducks. We also have free range chickens. Children are welcome to play in the gardens with adult supervision. We have swings a slide and a trampoline and outdoor games are available. Again with adult supervision only. The accommodation is suitable for less able guests as it is on the ground floor with only small steps to entrance and shower and we do have a portable ramp available. Please note that we have NO shower or toilet grab rails. There is ample parking and access to the accommodation. We Do Not have an electric charge point at this time but there are points in the local town nearby. Please contact us should you wish to bring a pet. Dogs will need to be kept on a lead in the grounds as we have chickens and ducks. We are happy to help you plan your time at the retreat to enable you to see the local attractions or just enjoy relaxing in the gardens or local area. We can also provide special activities for your stay, a number of craft workshops are av available in site. We are available to transport you to and from local stations or the airport or to take your bags to your next place of stay if you are walking. The retreat is well situated for many local amenities and attractions. The village has 2 fab restaurants The Chequers and the Entourage an Indian restaurant. Booking is advisable as they are very popular. There is also a small shop, post office and a lovely tea rooms. For walkers the Retreat is situated on The Monarchs Way footpath. Local attractions: West Midlands Safari Park. Severn Valley Railway, Worester Cathederal. River Severn. Stouport. Harvington Hall. Black Country Museum. Cadbury World. Himley Hall. Full private use of the hot tub 24/7 which is under cover too so doesnt matter if it rains. Hosts added little extra touches as we went for our minimoon which was really thoughtful! Paul and myself messaged leading up to the trip and he and Elaine met us on arrival. Hot tub mechanics explained and we made a cuppa with all facilities provided… Spent the evenings relaxing in the hot tub and the days walking through the beautiful nearby countryside.
