This Tiny House has all the whistles and bells one could be looking for in an upscale home. Located just inside Driftwood on 4.7 acres of private hill country land, this property is perfect for couples or small families who are looking to get away. Guests will enjoy spending the day exploring the beautiful surroundings and evenings in the cozy and innovative tiny casita. Inside, guests will find a quiet and comfortable retreat that offers all the conveniences of home. Sleep soundly in a private bedroom with a plush queen-sized bed, additional sleeping can be found in the loft that offers a full size bed perfect for up to two children. Preparing meals is no chore in this casita! Guests can utilize the fully equipped kitchen with a full stove, convection microwave, refrigerator, and all of the necessary conveniences to whip up a delicious meal. Choose to dine at the table for four located off the kitchen or the covered deck area on the front porch overlooking the endless views of towering oak trees. The living space is not only comfortable but also well equipped with a roomy sofa, flat-screen HD television, and an electric fireplace. This space is perfect to gather with family and watch a movie or play games. Freshen up in the roomy bathroom that offers a standup tiled shower as well as a vanity. Guests will also have access to the stackable washer and dryer found in the closet area right off the bathroom. There is plenty of fun to be had on this property, grill up your favorites while playing a game of cornhole, washers, or frisbee golf. Relax on the hammock or unwind with your favorite beverage on one of the two covered porch areas. Spend the evening gathered around the fire pit with family and friends, melting s’mores, popping corn, or stargazing. Located in Driftwood and minutes from Wimberley as well as Austin this property offers easy access to many local attractions. Only minutes away, tour The Duchman Family Winery, Fall Creek Vineyards, or Vista Brewing. For an evening of fabulous food and fun, dine at the Salt Lick BBQ or Hays City Store. With Wimberley only a few minutes away, spend the day in the downtown square shops and dine at the delicious restaurants. Enjoy a round of golf at the Quicksand Golf Course or explore Blue Hole Regional Park that offers hiking trails and swimming. Overall my wife and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay. It was great to be WAY out in the country away from all the hustle and bustle of the city and everyday life. It so far out, we almost didn't find it...just have to read the directions better and not simple go by the address that Google Maps uses. Although after we found it, the location "Casitas" appeared on Google Maps. The casita itself was fantastic! We loved the wood/ rustic accents with all the modern conveniences. It made the stay very cozy and comfortable. Once we figured out the hot tub, we loved it! It was a bit dirty but we wiped it down, let it circulate a while, and had to reset the breaker a couple times...had to call the host who was very helpful! The casita is relatively new but did have some small damages like broken blinds, broken shower drain grate, and bathroom door handle. Otherwise, the house, BBQ pits, hammock , outdoor lighting, and surroundings were functional and immaculate! Swings and games for fun and hot tub for relaxing. The Home came equipped with kitchen essentials. Loved staying here even if it was just for a couple nights, would have loved to stay the week. Loved that it had 2 other tiny homes on property so maybe friends can come next time but there's still plenty privacy and enough space between each home to enjoy your own time. I will say it was a bit dusty up in the loft area and the fridge and freezer could have been wiped down better but it wasn't a huge deal so ce we didn't use either of those. It was spacious enough for my partner and I and there was still room for about 2 more people. The owners were prompt with responding to any questions or concerns and were very friendly. The property itself is located at a good enough distance away from the other cabins so it feels private. We definitely took advantage of all the amenities and games the property has to offer. There’s a city store, coffee shop, and restaurant/bar that’s only 10 minutes away from the property which is nice to have nearby. I booked this property for 3 nights, just me, to get away and relax. I checked in, all was smooth. Took a quick nap then started to make dinner. It was quiet and peaceful, just perfect. Then a mouse popped out from under the kitchen cabinet, right beneath the kitchen sink, and looked right at me. I screeched a bit, so it scurried back and escaped under the lip of the kitchen cabinet. I stood in the living area/kitchen, frozen. Then it came out again!? From the same spot. I ran toward the door and it scurried under the lip of the kitchen cabinet. I went in the bedroom to find my phone and it came out a third time from the same spot, so I stomped my foot and it disappeared again. I immediately texted the after-hours service who was quick to respond. I explained I was not comfortable staying and they were very understanding. I packed up and headed to Wimberley to wait and see what the after-hours team told me. I followed up a few times to see if they had another property and they said they did not and that no one could help until the next morning after 8 AM. I live about an hour and a half away, so I just decided to head home and figure it out the next day. I called the office 5 times in the next 3 days. They never called me. Finally, they determined since I did not have pictures and their team did not find evidence of a mouse that I cannot be reimbursed. I'm out about 450 and not relaxed at all. The bed was beyond cozy, everything was clean and neat. The kitchen was well stocked with what we needed (dishes and tools). The washer and dryer was a fantastic amenity.
