"The cottage was gorgeous, in a lovely quiet location and parking at the back. It was spotlessly clean and beautifully decorated. We only stayed a night but it had almost everything you'd need for a stay. A bit of soap in the bathroom and teatowel/towel and washing up liquid in the kitchen with some milk for a cuppa when you arrive would have made it perfect. "A lovely little cottage tucked away just outside Scarborough. We stayed over for a wedding and it was a convenient 10 minute drive to the registry office. The accommodation was well thought out with everything we needed. The hot tub was set up and ready to use as soon as we arrived, and even a chilled bottle of Prosecco waiting in the fridge!! "Rooms were clean and spacious. The restaurant/bar area was well designed and comfortable. The outside area was a pleasant place to have an evening drink. Breakfast was good. A lovely range of food. The coffee machines were a bit of an issue as only was working. Maybe a hot water dispenser for tea drinkers would have helped keep queue shorter. Staff were extremely friendly and the wi-fi was reliable and easy to connect to. The location of the hotel was great. It was just around the corner from river pubs and about a ten minute walk to the Minster."

"I'd say our stay was average. The room was clean, except for the windows which were covered in hand prints. Both of the silver finish plates around the shower controls were loose and not attached to the walls. The restaurant food was ok......I saw customers wait for accompanying sides well after their mains were delivered. We ordered 1 large glass of house white and 1 red with our meal. The white came in a large glass but the red came in a small glass filled to the brim as they had no large glasses left. They were advertising 2 cocktails for £15. There were 6 or 7 cocktails on the menu. Only 3 of which they had all the ingredients for. We ordered cocktails in the bar about 6pm. Only one was delivered in a cocktail glass as they'd run out of cocktail glasses! We were the only ones having cocktails 😒. It's the little things that matter."

"Nice clean room, nicely decorated and lovely bathroom. The staff were helpful and friendly and made sure my parking was sorted and I had everything I needed for my stay. The bar was nice and well priced but I didn't have any food myself but I heard it was nice. I would stay there again definitely"

"We had a very enjoyable 2x nights stay at the Queens Hotel.Very good riverside location,best to make sure you pre-book your parking space in advance.Very nice helpful staff,easy quick check in. The room we stayed in was very nice,very clean,could possibly benefit from having more plug sockets in room,bedside etc. Breakfast was very nice,good produce used.We also booked for the evening meal,which was very nice,good portions.All in all we had a great break and would definitely return to this hotel."
