It occupies a lovely setting, convenient for exploring the luscious green countryside of the Yorkshire Wolds before returning to relax among modern fixtures and fittings, making you feel right at home. With laminate flooring throughout and quality furnishings to welcome you inside, bring your family and friends to share a memorable break in this beautiful region of Yorkshire. Make yourself cosy and lounge in the living room with the whole family gathered in front of the Smart TV (AMAZON & NETFLIX, BBC player accounts are required), and fully unwind into your evening. Prepare a tasty meal in the contemporary-style kitchen with all the appliances required to cook up a storm and crowd around the dining table to catch up on the day you've just had. You have a king-size bedroom to retire to later, a wall mounted smart TV (again Netflix, Amazon, BBC i-player accounts all required), with a patio door leading out into the enclosed rear garden, while the twin is ideal for those travelling with children. Lastly, the family bathroom boasts an electric shower over the bath, so you have the choice of a lovely hot soak in the tub to soothe your muscles or a refreshing shower to wake you up. You have plenty of amenities in the village, including pubs, convenience store and fish and chip shop. The town of Driffield is known as the cultural capital of the Wolds, with many family days out for you to enjoy. The property is a 2 minute walk to the train station, handy for days out to Bridlington or to venture up the coast to Scarborough, where you can choose from a variety of attractions to enjoy your time, from the grand Georgian house at Sewerby Hall, with its flourishing gardens and zoo to the Bayle Museum and majestic Bridlington Priory. Journey across to Flamborough Head with its sheer white cliffs jutting out into sea, where you can enjoy a lovely day out in the fresh coastal air in awe of the scenic landscape. You also have the city of York and sandy beaches of Scarborough as well as a plethora of walking and cycling opportunities in the area. This is a superb cottage in a fascinating region of Yorkshire. The holiday home is modern, cosy and light. All on one level and everything east to hand. It’s conveniently located for exploring the Yorkshire Wolds, east coastal areas & York city centre too. There’s a shed in the garden to accommodate bikes while cycling the local area. Parking on the driveway for 2 cars and on roadside too if required. The village of Nafferton is conveniently situated in the pretty countryside of the Yorkshire Wolds, yet only 2 miles from the market town of Driffield and 9 miles from the seaside resort of Bridlington. A large village, with mainly traditional dwellings that cluster around the mere and village greens, it is served by three country pubs, a village shop, a post office and a fish and chip shop. The railway station there is only 2 minutes walk away and extremely useful; only one stop to Bridlington and four to Scarborough! This is a lovely area for gentle walking, exploring the countryside and visiting stately homes and gardens such as Sledmere House and Burton Agnes Hall. A short ride takes you to the popular east coast seaside resorts with their long sandy beaches, whilst the historical City of York, with its famous minster, is well worth a visit. 🚘Parking - Free off street parking on driveway.
