Hidden Gem Cottage is a mid-terraced cottage, tucked away just yards from the main shopping street in the middle of the market town of Driffield, in the heart of the Yorkshire Wolds. This cosy cottage has been renovated throughout and offers a stylish, contemporary feel for a couple looking to enjoy a town or city break in this wonderful part of the East Riding of Yorkshire. The ground floor is open plan incorporating the living area and the kitchen with dining table; the design of which maximizes the space available. The stairs leading the first floor are encased with glass tops with a chrome banister allowing the natural light to flow around the cottage. The accommodation is completed with a double bedroom with an en-suite shower room.  
  
This property is the perfect base for those who enjoy city living with a host of shops, restaurants, bars and pubs serving real ales and craft beers to keep you entertained during your visit. Why not pamper yourself for the afternoon in the health spa at the local hotel, where you can enjoy discounts on treatments and return to the cottage fully refreshed and invigorated!For those looking to also explore the Wolds and nearby coast, there are many options to enjoy from the RSPB reserve at Bempton to the nature reserve at Spurn Point. A visit to this area is not complete without enjoying a traditional fish and chip supper at Bridlington or Filey. The rolling hills of the Yorkshire Wolds are a paradise for both walkers and cyclists alike. The historic city of York and beautiful market town of Beverly are also within easy reach, both of which have race courses with meetings throughout the year. #### Perfectspot

Very modern cottage and would have been a quiet location had it not been for work going on in the next property till 10pm. We did however feel that the owners cut back on basic amenities, no soap in the bathroom and only a quarter of a used toilet roll, for 4 days (not very covid friendly) We threw it out and had to go and buy some. They stated on the listing that there was a welcome pack. We stay at loads of Vrbo's and this usually consists of milk, bread, eggs and even wine. We received a few tea bags, sachets of coffee and a pack of biscuits. Also there were mugs and glasses in the cupboards with water left in. They definitely scrimpted on here amenities.
