A perfect B&B experience in an extremely convenient location for walking to dining! We only stayed 1 night, but everything was effortlessly smooth from check in to check out. I’ll come back again

An amazing property ran by exceptional people. The best surprise of our trip to Vancouver…! Will definitely recommend this property as a better alternative to a hotel.

Our stay was perfect. Our room was not huge, but the bed was extremely comfortable, the washroom was clean, tidy, modern and everything worked properly. Free parking. Unfortunately, our schedule did not allow us to partake in the delicious smelling breakfast, but we had a lovely simple boxed breakfast waiting for us for our 2 day stay.

We thoroughly enjoyed our 3 day stay at the West End Guest House. This is a beautiful, well-maintained home with stunning decor. We appreciated the excellent service and attention to details. It’s a convenient walk to many of Vancouver’s attractions. We look forward to staying here again in the future.

The bed mattresses are extremely soft and desperately need to be replaced, not just rotated or flipped. The bed was so soft I just slept on the floor for four nights. I spoke to another person who said hers was also very soft. Other than that the stay and staff were fine

Hi Anthony, I'm really sorry to hear that you did not sleep well during your stay. All of our mattresses are actually fairly new Sterns and Foster "firm/flat" from their hotel collection. We just changed them out in 2023. Our error was not to remove the memory foam topper when we learnt that the bed was too soft for you. I apologize for that and have had a discussion with all the staff as we should have handled things differently. We will look at reviewing the memory foam toppers in the rooms and ask other guests for their feedback about comfort.

I had a great stay at the West End Guest House! Very professional staff and a cozy safe environment for my work trip to Vancouver. Only issue is that as a tall person, the single traveller room / dining is not well set up if you are 6 ft or taller! The shower head was quite low and I could barely fit my legs under the small table that I was served at on the first day. I was also accidentally served meat as a vegetarian (and let them know on the first day).

The old house was delightful (we live in a house about a decade younger). The staff very attentive and thoughtful. We were extremely grateful for the warm bedroom and the fireplace since we were there during a rare blast of arctic weather and the previous night we had been in a resort whose heat was unable to keep up. The 3 course breakfasts were thoughtfully prepared.

The location of the West End Guest House allowed us to walk to the sites around Canada Place, Stanley Park and into the city centre. It's like living for a short period of time in a neighbourhood, quiet, leafy and close to a range of shops and dining.

Loved it! Didn’t have to move the car once! So convenient to restaurants & shopping. Easy bus access. We liked it so much…we’re staying there again at the end of our trip! Owners were quick to respond when our tv didn’t turn on. All we needed was a remote battery. Breakfast was delicious! We’ll be back!😁

Clean and charming boutique hotel/bed&breakfast at an excellent location. Very central and walkable to most points of interest. Areas for improvement may include addition of a working desk in rooms, expanding breakfast options (e.g. adding low-calorie breakfast, offering espresso coffee).

Hi Borko, we are glad you enjoyed your stay with us. we will look into some of the ideas you have identified, we do provide low calorie breakfasts or any other option should the guest request, we also offer a mixed blend of regular coffee and espresso and can make espresso upon request but using a french press. Will consider other options as well

It’s located in the proximity of the Robson St, yet the neighborhood is quiet and nice. The house is beautiful and the interior is nicely done. Staff is friendly and helpful. Breakfast is awesome and the snacks are available all the time. If I ever need a place to stay in Vancouver, this B&B is definitely on my mind.

We parked the car and our journey began. Easy parking right behind property. We arrived before noon and were able unpack the car right away. We had asked our host if we could leave our bags inside while we hiked Stanley Park. Our rooms were ready and the two wonderful young ladies, Katie and Maria, assisted in getting us settled in. They were warm and friendly, all of our touristy questions were happily answered. We were in Room #2, the king master suite. The room is better than the pictures show. The house is in museum condition, but you don’t feel like you need to tip toe around. I actually felt right at home by the warm vibes of the hostess and staff. The pantry and a delicious snack are provided daily. The breakfast was really good too. We enjoyed our stay and highly recommend Cheers!

Wonderful stay, perfect location, those sheets!
We had only one night at the West End Guest House, but absolutely loved it. The staff was very helpful with food allergies, and the room was great with a very comfortable bed. Amazing sheets! The fans ere really great too. Thanks to Carmen and the team who made this so enjoyable. The neighborhood is beautiful and the proximity to Robson Street with all its restaurants was perfect.

My sister and I enjoyed a lovely visit here in April. The accommodations were so comfortable and cozy, we really loved visiting in the sitting room by the fire and enjoyed the baking treats. The breakfasts were yummy and staff are super friendly and helpful. Beautiful neighbourhood close to ocean and restaurants.
