No hot water

Posted 18-Jul-2017
We got up in the morning and there was no hot water. When I pay nearly $400 for a hotel room I expect hot water. We called the front desk and they asked us to wait half an hour. When we checked out - nothing was said about it.

Wonderful location.

Posted 18-Jul-2017
Pros: The check-in, check-out staff were very friendly and helpful.
Location: We picked this hotel because of it's central location to Chinatown, Gastown, Science World and even to Canada Place--if you don't mind walking.
I enjoyed our stay very much. The room was clean and modern.

Decent, but not great

Posted 16-Jul-2017
Location ok, but hotel is tired and a little worn. Often a line for 2 tiny elevators. Housekeeping staff overworked. Restaurant good. Convenience store on premises with helpful owner. Knowing how expensive Vancouver is, I should have booked a higher end hotel.

Good location on city center and near water.

Many hotels I normally stay were sold out. This one was still expensive and was a little run down, staff in the evening wasn't overly helpful- morning was much better. Good location though to get places.

Perfect location...close to Yale town and the sea

Posted 10-Jul-2017
Room initially given to us smelled like cigarettes..asked for a different room..was given a great room no hassle..bathrooms are small..they should consider pocket doors so we don't bump our body parts trying to use the toilet or the tub..walked away with a few bruises..bed was comfy...need a different way to hang towels...no hanging bar..had to hang them on the shower rod...tv should be hung higher so we can see it from the bed...this hotel is a clean bed and a great location at a decent price.

Good location. Unfortunately our reservation was a problem, don't know if expedia or hotel had the mix up but did get our room after a couple of hours which worked out ok as we had lunch in adjourning restaurant. Room was small and no extras like fridge or kettle. Pool and hot tub nice. Elevator not working 2 out of the 3 days we were there, only one elevator working so lots of people waiting for it.

elavator broken and airconditioner not adaquit

Posted 4-Jul-2017
Pros: nothing
Cons: everything
Location: close to downtown and rogers arena. but so are loads of other hotels.
we were on the 10th floor and there was only one elavator working. from what i can gather the hotel was full or close to. so your looking at a large amount of people using one elevator. was told it would be fixed later that was friday. we left monday still not fixed. then the airconditioner was not adaquate for the size on the room and the heat pouring in through the windows which cover two walls. the windows where hot to touch by 10 am. first night we roasted. second and third night we were priovide with two floor fans which took the edge of.
