"Beautiful hotel close to Entertainment "
We stayed at the SoHo Met for 3 nights. The room was luxurious and spacious (marble bath and shower, large closet and king bed). It is so much nicer than a normal hotel room. It is a block away from Rogers Center, Second City as well as Metro Hall to access the PATH (underground network of shopping and food options that connects almost all of the downtown buildings and you can take to the Eaton Center). Highly recommend staying here if you are looking for a place in the Entertainment District.

"Nice staff, but limited space"
Great location. Fantastic staff. Interesting atmosphere and decor. Our only problem for 2 senior citizens was there were no bedside tables or spaces to set things down except the floor. The bed is floating in the room which looks attractive, but is difficult for lighting and living. One chair and desk are behind the bed. If you don't care about that it was wonderful!

"Saturday night stay"
Hotel location is ideal. The only downfall is proximity to a night club directly behind it. It was very loud and hard to fall asleep. The music was going on til 3am. Perhaps if you requested a diff floor and a room facing south this wouldn't be an issue. However, the room itlself was very nice and modern. We loved the massive tub.

Pocket Guide: Downtown Toronto, University District Boutique Hotels

Toronto’s culturally diverse downtown includes the CN Tower, the Royal Ontario Museum, and the Art Gallery of Ontario. Air Canada Centre is home to the Toronto Maple Leafs, and Rogers Centre features the Blue Jays. Toronto’s underground city is a great way to get around the downtown core when the temperature drops. Known as the PATH, it is also the world’s largest subterranean shopping center.
