"The lady on reception was in training - she was wonderful and so kind. I was even upgraded which was a treat! The rooms are always clean and the beds so very comfortable. I always stay at River Rock when I'm in Vancouver - I will be back at the beginning of June!!"

The Burrard is in the heart of downtown Vancouver, within steps of the restaurants and entertainment that attract visitors. The Burrard is a no frills, modern property oriented toward young people that provides a pleasant place to sleep. The staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful when I needed recommendations for when I wanted snacks and later a meal (the hotel itself lacks both). Both were literally within a half block. I loved the "got better things to do" vibe of the place because I did have other things I was doing. If you want old-style amenities and luxury, then go to the Parker."
