Danny at the front desk was very helpful!! Restaurant was closed Monday. Both early evenings we tried to get a glass of wine they weren’t open. No real breakfast served, just pastries and coffee. 3 stars at best
Hotel was clean. Beds were comfortable. Staff was friendly. I’m rating it as 4 stars because hotel was listed as having valet parking, but was unable to find where to go to use the service. Ended up finding parking down the street thankfully.
We arrived with a coach load of youth athletes. The front desk were extremely helpful and coordinated check-in flawlessly. Many places close by to eat with lots of variety and price points. Check out involved several groups leaving at different times which involved luggage storage and transfer to the coach. All handled smoothly. Would definitely recommend for group travel.
Only issue was the heat in the building. It being a mild weekend in February, the heat was still on in the hotel so rooms were very hot. Some difficulty gettin windows open.
Fabulous place to stay, Peter at the front desk is exceptional. His co-partner Sam is also excellent. They make your stay so much more comfortable without a doubt best place to stay in Montreal.
Pretty nice hotel Conveniently located a block away from the metro. Clean rooms with very nice staff. Parking was quite expensive and there was no free breakfast or coffee in the lobby, which was a downside.
Very clean and century located staff at the front desk. His name is Peter. Unbelievable customer service, polite, professional, reliable you could not ask for more very nice place to stay recommend to all.
The best part about this hotel is the gentleman who was at reception in the evenings on the 26 & 27 of December. He was so nice and so welcoming and helpful. He really made our trip to Montreal because we didn’t find anyone else was too friendly. He’s a true asset to the hotel. That aside, the hotel needs a bit of work. Our room had an overwhelming smell of what we called “old lady perfume” but then the next day there was a terrible smell out in the hallway that we could smell from the inside of our room so perhaps it is an ongoing issue. The elevator that’s big enough to fit the luggage trolley broke down, and the thermostat in the room just didn’t seem to work so it was just a lot of little things that added up. The valet can take a while but the property is safe and the beds are comfortable. I don’t think I’d return to Montreal but if I did I’d probably consider a different hotel.
