"This was our first time staying in the Minneapolis area and we didn’t know the history of the hotel before our stay. Noticing some quirky features of the building, we took to google and found that it had originally been the Minneapolis Athletic Club, built in 1915. You can find a brief history and some old photos online if you’re interested. That said, the rooms have been updated and are cute and comfortable. We had a corner room which was larger than expected and surpassed our expectations. My only complaint is that the water took a VERY long time to warm up but once it did, it was hot and water pressure was great. Hotel staff was very friendly and the surrounding area was quiet and easy to navigate. The hotel is connected to the Skyway system which was unique and interesting to navigate. I would absolutely stay here again. "
