"My husband and I loved it here, we got a free room upgrade simply because the receptionist checking us in liked my nails! the staff was super friendly and helpful. The only thing we were bummed about was there were two separate hot tubs in the spa area, one in the men’s locker room and one in the women’s so while being on a relaxing vacation with my spouse, we would have rather had a public hot tub so we could enjoy it together. But if that’s what someone prefers, the hot tubs were very nice and relaxing none the less."

"My hotel king bed, two-room suite was fabulous. The 2nd room had a queen or king pull-out sofa bed. A 55" flat-screen tv in both rooms. There was a fridge and microwave hidden behind a closed-cabinet door. Also coffee and bottled water. A clean, spacious bathroom that came with enough towels, body lotion and soap, shampoo/conditioner, and blow dryer. No shower cap. Also bedroom closet came with a safe, iron and board. There was a choice of in-room or restaurant dining. The stay had a home-away-from home feel to it. My next stay in Detroit, will definitely be at the Doubletree Hotel. Forgot to mention the 2 big warm, chocolate-chip cookies they give their guests upon arrival. Mmmm, mmmm good."
