"Aspen Mountain Lodge is fine. Everything about the place seemed really dated, especially the furnishings in the guest rooms. But the location is great The rooms were clean. And the person working the front desk the night I stayed there baked chocolate chip cookies and handed them out. Which was a lovely touch. "

"The plus of this place is that it was small and in a good location. Not quite as expensive as other places in Aspen. The lodge itself however is very disappointing at this time. My fundamental complaint was the front door was left open all night. Then, the rooms were clean enough but the lobby was not. The carpet was disgusting. The room heat was broken with no one to fix it. “Our maintenance person is out” I was told. The TV kept asking for software updates before we could use it. Not that...
