"Loved the Bootleggers Hideaway!! The unit was very comfortable, well furnished, and had everything we needed. It was just a short walk up the hill to Anchorage and all its great brewpubs and restaurants. The owner was very responsive to all of our queries, and we really enjoyed our stay. Would love to come back in a different season!"

"My husband stayed for a few days of our honeymoon, and did enjoy how close it was to most things downtown! We primarily walked despite the heavy snowfall. We went to Artic Sushi and Snow City Cafe, both incredible. The space is small, but has all the functions you would need to cook, a tv, etc. We enjoyed relaxing in the livingroom but thought maybe an ottoman in front of the couch would help us prop our feet up while watching tv. "Our group of 6 had a comfortable stay. However, to accommodate 6 adults is a stretch as the living room only has sofa and not sofa bed. 4 people is perfect. Kitchen & wifi was great. No other complaint otherwise"

"This was a great view and location. It was a very spacious stay for a long weekend in town. I was dissatisfied with the washer and dryer, I had to re wash ALL the towels and the machines smelt like mildew. All the neighbors were also very rude. It’s like they know this place is a Vrbo rental and want nothing to do with whoever stays there. My husband and I tried saying hello to several people when going to our vehicle, any of the neighbors wouldn’t even acknowledge us. Not the end of the world....
