"It's a cabin in the middle of the woods, as long as you read the emails and pay attention there isn't any surprises. "Nice place. Good little continental breakfast. **** Only complaint which was out of their control was down below the hill there was some sort of construction or quarrying operation going on, so from about 3-4am on there was a constant loud rumbling sound going on. 15-20 seconds then nothing for a minute then 15-20 seconds again and that repeated all morning through when we left at 7:15am. Weird for a Sunday morning. I didn’t inquire about it because I figured it was out of their hands and just unfortunate. **** We did also find some moose near by. We just drove around at dusk on timber company land and found 3 to watch."

"We had an absolutely amazing experience at this property. It was clean and well-appointed, the location was fabulous. We will definitely be coming back. And communication with the host was excellent. He was very attentive. Overall, a great and wonderful experience."

"We had a great stay here! This is a lovely cabin in a little neighborhood, but still feels private. We brought our canoe and kayaks and were on the water a lot. Entry is very shallow and kid friendly. Our kiddo caught his first fish right off the dock! Bathrooms, kitchen, bedrooms were very clean. Common areas a bit less so. This cabin feels like staying at a friends house. There is a Trade Winds/Hannaford grocery store about 15 mins away in Milo — we brought all our food but could have saved space and just shopped there. There’s a lovely heated mudroom — excellent for winter, but in the summer a laundry drying rack or hooks in the bathroom would have been helpful for drying swimsuits and towels. The cabin was comfortable temperature wise, but fans in the bedrooms would have been welcome as well. Kitchen is incredibly well stocked with pots, pans, utensils. Many chairs on the deck, along with a picnic table. Overall, really fantastic. We’d absolutely go back."

Peace and tranquility on Sebec Lake

"This is the perfect lake cabin. All the conveniences in a rustic feeling camp. Waterfront is very rocky, and lake is only accessible from the dock.So keep that in mind if you are swimming..The host, Kevin, is fully and immediately accessible. This is the perfect camp setting for Sebec."
