I will start by saying that I don't need a lot of fluff in the place I stay. As long as the room is clean and the bed is comfortable I am happy. I got that and more. Check in was very easy. Showed my ID and credit card and was given a key. It didn't take more than a few minutes. This is an older motel. You can tell by the style and the way it looked from the outside. When I walked in the room I was pleasantly surprised. There was a table and chairs, a desk, refrigerator, and microwave. It looked like the bathroom had been remodeled. It had a large shower instead of a tub/ shower combo. The bathroom was small compared to other hotels but it was big enough for what it is used for. There was a picnic table and bar b que area in the middle of the courtyard which was a nice touch. We didn't use it but it was there. We ate soup and sandwiches cooked in our microwave in the room. There was construction going on so there was a lot of banging fairly late in the day. That was really the only thing that was a real negative about our stay. They have to do the work sometime, so I do understand. I stayed here with my husband and we were both impressed with quality for the price paid.
