You can't beat the location of this condo just a few blocks (walking distance) from downtown Douglas and half a mile from downtown Saugatuck. Spectacular views day and night of Mt. Baldhead/Kalamazoo lake and river/town of Saugatuck. Accommodate 6-8 guests comfortably with two king beds, a queen bed, and a pull out if needed. Three balconies and a patio offer gorgeous views of the lake, downtown Saugatuck, and Mount Baldy. There's no view like it in town! Two-car attached garage set up as a game room plus a driveway parking for two cars, more parking available if needed. Relax, fish off the boardwalk near the bridge or just sit relax and watch the boats go by. By renting this cottage you are agreeing to the following rules: (RULES ARE STRICTLY ENFORCED) 1.) All of our rentals are non-smoking. 2.) You and your guests are using our home at your own risk. We nor the owner of the property will be held responsible for any injuries that occur at the vacation rental or for any lost or stolen items. 3.) No boats or trailers are to be parked at our rental properties. Tents of any kind are not allowed. There is parking for one cars in front of cottage. Parking is allowed on the street. 4.) Do not move the furniture. 5.) Each cottage has a maximum number of guests that is listed on this contract you must verify that it is correct. That number is not to be exceeded - this includes children and adults. For fire safety, we are required to limit the number in each home. If additional people are found to be staying at the cottage the entire group will be asked to vacate with no refund. Inflatable mattresses or alternative sleeping other than pack n plays or cribs are not allowed. Tents are also not allowed on the property. 6.) Pets are not permitted. If a pet is on the property then there will be a $1500 fee and it will be required that the owner board the pet immediately. 7.) Damages are to be reported during your stay. If we find damage after you vacate, you authorize the charge to your credit card for replacement or repair or provide another credit card number, pay by cash or check. Damages reported upon arrival will not be guests' responsibility. 8.) Cleaners will come to the cottage after you have departed - they will not visit to clean, change linens, or replace towels during your stay. Please contact the office should you need assistance during your stay regarding any cleaning items. 9.) Grills are to be cleaned after each use. 10.) Quiet time is after 10pm nightly. We do not tolerate loud groups and college like parties anytime of the day or night. Drinking games are not allowed on the property. Neighbors must NOT hear you inside or outside the cottage after 10pm. 11.) You are at least 25 years old and will be able to verify with valid identification during your stay if needed. 12.) Weddings and formal events are NOT permitted on our properties, if there is found to be a formal event on the property the entire group will be asked to vacate the property with a no refund. It is acceptable to have a visitors during the day hours but that number can not be more than 1.5 times the maximum occupancy of the cottage. 13.) Please do not park in the garage. \*Disclosure: There may be cameras with sound at outside entrances of cottages ONLY. These rules are strictly enforced due to NEW city and township ordinances. This contract is the only warning you will get. If any rules are not followed all local fines, security deposits and any other charges will be charged to guest and the entire group will be asked to vacate the property. The dining room set is very different from what is shown. The chairs were extremely uncomfortable, as was the bench that was provided.It's not mentioned in the description of the unit, but there is a staircase to get to the main level and a staircase to get to the 2 bedrooms upstairs. To get to the third bedroom, you have to come up the stair from the front entrance and then back down another staircase.Looking back at the photos, we should have suspected that there had to be more than one set of stairs, but it would have been nice if it had been stated clearly.Also, the refrigerator did not have a filtered water dispenser, nor was their a Brita water filter pitcher provided. It was Rivers Edge and it was beautiful!! So very clean, huge kitchen, large living room space with fireplace which we enjoyed and the beds were so comfortable! The backyard was beautiful and since it was down a long lane it was so quiet and peaceful. There were five adults staying and we had more than enough room. There was a water front close by so we walked down to it and enjoyed the views. Ethan was so kind and very quick to communicate with and we would definitely book any property from him! The home was clean and spacious, had lots of outdoor space on the porches and balconies, and was convenient to have 3 bedrooms and 3.5 baths. While it wasn’t a problem for us, be aware that the third bedroom on the lowest level does not have a door to close it off at the bottom of the stairs, so noise from the main floor living space could be an issue. The condo was absolutely perfect for our group. It was spacious, clean, welcoming. We loved the bedroom layouts. It allowed everyone to have their own space and privacy. The condo has everything you need. The bikes were a nice surprise, since the condo is roughly a mile from downtown Saugatuck. We walked to downtown Douglas in the mornings for coffee. It’s a nice short walk through a cute neighborhood. This was our first time to Saugatuck and I would definitely return. I would also rent this condo again. You can’t beat the amazing views from the main floor and master, just beautiful. ##### Maureen H. Initially there was a mishap with the communication from VRBO to the property manager. Once I contacted Ethan at the property management office, he quickly corrected the issue and made the experience wonderful for my family and me. We would definitely go back to this property and plan to next year. The property itself is breathtaking. The view on the lake is immeasurable. Quaint Cottages (property management) is taking the cleanliness to the next level with concerns of COVID. I felt so comfortable that my family’s health was the number one priority!
