The bar area and reception were lovely. The room though was really sad and dated. It was a good size, but carpets were horrible, furniture was 1980's. We booked the four poster bed. It had a TV screwed to the top, nasty yellowed net curtains near the headboard. Not romantic. The bathroom had lino peeling away, bath panel didn't fit, the door looked like it had been cut to size with a butter knife. It was like Homes under the Hammer before they start the work.
But location for BIC was great, and we did enjoy the breakfast.
Just AFTER making our non-refundable booking we received an email stating that there is a night club on site and guests cannot expect a good nights sleep...
