The apartment was completely renovated this year. We are located on the grounds of Aran View House, where from the main gate you will be able to experience breathtaking sunsets in the summer and wonderful views of the ocean being framed by part of the Cliffs of Moher and Aran Islands. It is an excellent base to explore the best that Clare has to offer, including the Cliffs of Moher, the Burren, Doolin Pier (where you can take the ferry to one of the Aran Islands); Lahinch and Fanore beaches. It’s nestled in with a number of other rental dwellings with easy parking. I believe a small hotel is also in the property. The hosts and their families are nearby too. Although guests aren’t impacted in anyway, the place is also a working sheep farm. Sadly, we did not get to meet the sheep and yes, they are far out in the field;) We had been traveling in Ireland for ten days prior to our arrival and were grateful for the quiet, the large space, free onsite parking, and TV and internet.
