A modern stone cottage with spectacular views of the Atlantic Ocean. Our glazed roof external patio area is excellent for entertaining or barbeques. It is very cosy and has a large open plan Kitchen/Dining area where you can relax and look out at the beautiful view. Comfortable and cosy living space with a panoramic view of the Aran Islands Saltcliff Cottage has 3 bedrooms: 2 with double beds and 1 with a king bed. We were transfixed by the views and loved having a fire at night and early morning. We absolutely loved our time at this stone cottage in Doolin. It was so beautiful, perfectly appointed, elegant and yet rustic!! So very well done. We felt very cozy and at home. They left us provisions which was very kind and unexpected!! The bedrooms were very comfortable and we loved hearing the donkey outside from across the street!! We were very close (one minute car ride) to Cliffs of Moher and 5 minutes from the Doolin village area. Also very close to the Burren area. Breathtaking beauty and the perfect end to our 2 week trip. We made a fire and ate cheese cracker and tea one night...a perfect unwind after several weeks of travel. We would defintately recommend and stay there again. Our only stress was the lack of communication leading up to our stay. Because were on a long road trip between two countries...I would have liked a bit more communication that we were all set.
