« The Paddler's Retreat is REALLY out of the way. We enjoyed our stay however, people need to understand that all services are limited. Due to Covid there is only a very limited breakfast, mostly cold. If you want tea, you will need to use the microwave. The range is not available. Furthermore, the options are more limited for dinner. There is only a gas station / limited eatery that stop serving at 6:30pm. The little town, Confluence is about 5 miles away. After that you are out of luck. There...

« I will miss this place. I love how quiet it was in the off-season. The hiking nearby was spectacular, within minutes of our suite. Restaurants were also a stones throw from our room, with varied menus and delicious food. The people/ mostly locals, were especially friendly. My puppy got lots of lovin from some true dog people... thank you. A big thanks to Kim for her hospitality and warm welcome to Ohiopyle. I hope to be back for a whitewater ride with my brother, hike the hills, eat, drink and...

Very welcoming for us and our dogs with an easy walk to be in the park or along the river.We really enjoyed our stay and will definitely come again!Do be aware that the rooms can be on the 2nd level, as this one was.
