Initial fuel for open fire included, remainder available locally. Travel cot and highchair. Welcome pack. Front garden with, sitting-out area and garden furniture, firepit. Private parking for 2 cars. No smoking.. Green Farm Cottage is a charming 16th-century retreat nestled at the end of a peaceful wooded lane in Redgrave, Suffolk with delightful open countryside views. Welcoming larger families or friendship groups, the cottage comfortably sleeps up to eight guests, boasting a ground floor bedroom, and is well-furnished to provide a perfect holiday home at any time of year. Beyond its garden lie expansive open fields, with uninterrupted views stretching all the way to Hinderclay, enjoying excellent walks direct from the doorstep.  
  
Inside, history meets comfort, with the oldest part of the home boasting an open fireplace to snuggle by on any cooler evening. The spacious open plan kitchen/dining room comfortably allows dining together, with doors opening into the garden. A lovely lawn garden wraps around the cottage with a hedge enclosure. The cottage has been fully renovated to seamlessly blend period character with everyday modern amenities. There is a ground floor bedroom and downstairs toilet, with three further well-appointed bedrooms upstairs, along with a spacious family bathroom, all rooms offer stunning views of the Suffolk countryside. The large wrap around lawn garden, enjoys both sunny and shaded areas, here you can have a front-row seat to spectacular sunsets in the evening.  
  
While its tranquil location makes it the ideal countryside escape, the cottage is within easy reach of local villages, bustling market towns, and even the marvellous Suffolk coastline a 45 minutes’ drive away. The bustling market town of Diss is a 15 minute drive for supermarkets, eateries, shops and a train station with services to London Liverpool Street, and a 30 minutes’ drive from Bury St Edmunds, the historic home of Saint Edmund, with its abbey ruins, and celebrated as Suffolk’s foodie capital, offering everything from award-winning fine dining to hearty Suffolk pub classics, and a blended mix of independent shops and big-name brands, vibrant markets, and a thriving arts and cultural scene. The surrounding area offers a wealth of attractions and activities. Nearby highlights include Wyken Vineyard, The English Whisky Distillery, Bressingham Steam Museum and Gardens, Banham Zoo, and the charming coastal towns of Southwold, Thorpeness, and Aldeburgh.
