Self Catering Holiday Cottage in the Highlands of Scotland The cottage is in a small, quiet hamlet two miles up the hill from Evanton village. It is actually part of a converted farm steading consisting of ten cottages, all made of natural stone. Ours is the only one fortunate enough to have a vaulted ceiling and Juliet balcony on the first floor, where the lounge is situated. Bespoke wooden beds and shelves for bathroom basins. Fantastic kitchen with breakfast bar and en-suites with walk-in showers, and one with a slipper bath. A cosy courtyard with heating and lighting and a covered pergola. This is a great place to stay and use as a base to explore, or stop off for a few days while driving the NC500\. On a single track road; use What Three Words to find it. Google and Apple Maps won’t get you there.Communication with Roger was excellent as well. Overall very highly recommend.
