The view, hot tub, fireplace was amazing. Loved entering the home with ambiance of the fireplace with the soothing screen saver on the TV. Much needed relaxing weekend away. I have no complaints and would definitely rent Whale Watch house again and again and again......I can't say enough. I've rented other houses in Bodega and by far this one was my favorite. The walk to the beach was definitely not for the faint. There are some pretty steep hills, it is a workout. The kitchen had everything we needed. ##### stacey p. We love the views of Dillon Beach and Lawson’s landing from the the house, brought some good binoculars hopping to see whales swimming by, but maybe next time! Beautiful drive to point Reyes area! Stopped at south beach (beautiful) our dog Mowgli had a blast! On our way back we stopped to eat at Nicks Cove ( good delicious food). When we walked into the Whale Watch the 1st thing we noticed was the gorgeous view. The living room, dining room & kitchen open concept was our favorite part of this house. Big family room downstairs. Kitchen was good. Living room was roomy. Some things to mention. VERY steep driveway and I mean very steep. Living room screen on sliding door was wonky. The house has the most incredible views and the game room and hot tubs were wonderful, clean, and in good working order. We came up with family and friends and are big on cooking feasts. We pack a lot of our necessities but the kitchen was well equipped. To address previous reviews, there is a coffee maker but no coffee and we didn't see any multipurpose cleaner so thankfully we brought our own. The doors and windows didn't function well but they still locked and opened when we needed it. The host was communicative and gave us info when there was a power outage.
