The large bedroom has a polished wood floor installed more than 150 years ago. The hallways and stairwells leading to your private suite are shared with other guests. French doors separate the king size bed from the sitting room, with a full sized pull-out sofa. The private bathroom is spacious with a large shower. The suite is air conditioned with a smart television with Roku, WiFi, and a mini fridge. Head downstairs in the morning and enjoy breakfast on our outdoor stone patio or in the Manor House dining rooms. Dominion Hill Country Inn is a historic estate offering comfortable accommodations and amenities that includes WiFi, hot tubs, lawn games, fire pit, children’s playground, and a walking trail. Located on a tidal bay with a waterfall (no current water access), the Inn is close to the main highway for the region (Route #1), and the renowned coastal town of St. Andrews-by-the-Sea. The Maine border is 39 kilometers (24 miles), to the south. The Inn is a property of beauty and rich history. First established in 1870s, then later developed in the 1920s by the owners of the publishing empire that created The Saturday Evening Post and Ladies’ Home Journal, it provides a reminder of the past with all of the modern conveniences. Enjoying a Four Star rating from Canada Select, guests can choose between suites, Manor House rooms, cottages, cabins, and glamping sites.
