"I couldn't eat the breakfast as I don't eat carbs, sugar or seed oils. I got the old "key being tried in my lock" thing on the first morning. Never a great feeling. I had the latch on of course. The cleaner told me in broken English that she thought the room was empty. She showed me the "do not disturb" hanger which I put on the door handle. But then she knocked an hour later anyway while I was on a call. I was not able to communicate effectively with her at all during my stay. I do feel that having a slight command of English ought to be a requirement for customer-facing staff in an Alberta hotel. Spoiled an otherwise decent experience."

"Breakfast was excellent great coffee and lots of time to attend. Room was clean but some stain on chair. Keurig coffee maker was broken so needed to go down to grab a cup from breakfast area, front desk will have it replaced. Staff was helpful."
