![We could not wait to see the crystal waters of the Indian Ocean!  It was love at first site!  What a spectacular experience to have together as a family!  We were mesmerized by the clarity and color of the sea.  The sand was stark white, but soft and smooth. We stayed at the Pinewood Beach Resort located on Diani Beach near Mombasa, Kenya.  A glass bottom boat scooped us up from the resort and took us to a beach atoll where we could snorkel, swim and sun ourselves.  We saw beautiful fish, coral, sea urchins, and an eel.  Fisherman labored away on their hand carved boats and sailboats in the middle of paradise, as we tried to memorize the views.

« Nous avons passé un merveilleux séjour balnéaire au Sands. Le personnel est au petit soins, la chambre est grande et moderne (nous étions dans un bungallow plage) avec une terrasse privative. Nous avons eu du plaisir à utiliser le centre de sports nautiques, lequel était inclus dans le tarif de la chambre. La nourriture est correcte, voir même en dessus de la moyenne par rapport au pays. Le seul point que nous pouvons critiquer est l'offre "all Inclusive" qui est beaucoup trop chère par rapport...

« J'ai passé 5 nuits dans cet hôtel. Je confirme que l'hôtel est actuellement en pleine rénovation. Ce sera sûrement très bien une fois les travaux finis. Malgré les désagréments liés aux travaux, j'ai néanmoins bien apprécié cet établissement; que je recommande. -attitude du personnel très professionnelle: serviable sans être envahissante -belle architecture de l'hôtel, relativement sobre -animations sympas (musique, karaoké) -grande piscine idéale pour la natation -buffet petit déjeuner et...

« An absolute pearl on the Kenyan coast. The location is quite and beautiful, with professional and super friendly staff and management. The food was amazing and served in wonderful atmosphere. We stayed for five nights and enjoyed every second, either on the beach or in the pool, watching baby turtles crawl to the sea with the Tiwi Turtle Police or visiting the nearby star fish sanctuary and the African pool. The tide is dramatic and there is lots to explore in rock pools at low tide with easy...
