Hotel is ~15km away from airport, takes more than 1.5hrs to reach. traffic jam/delay in Dhaka is very common. Wonderful, comfortable hotel with so many surprising, welcome "extras" (like toothbrushes, combs, built-in converters/adapters, and even a prayer mat provided in the room). The reception staff were always kind and helpful, including when I had to extend the room by half a day; the restaurant upstairs had a great breakfast spread and perfect, fresh mango juice; and the hotel is right near a market, lots of shops, and some great restaurants. It's a fairly short distance to museums and other highlights in Dhaka, too. My stay was too short!
