We have with three tables, lots of seating, gas grills, a fire pit, and an ornamental fishpond. Enjoy sitting under the stars at night with a cocktail or roasting marshmallows around the fire pit. Grill out or just play a game of horseshoes during the day We also have two very nice outdoor showers with hot and cold water, and a dressing area If the week you want is not available, check out our Sea View Haven (VRBO 310004) a beautiful 2BR ocean view second-floor apartment. Being able to take an easy stroll to the beach with no roads to cross makes this perfect for families with older guests or small children for lunchtime, nap time, or bathroom breaks We have a lifeguard on the beach at the end of our street, and you can rent chairs and umbrellas on the beach by the day or week. Disable beach wheelchairs are available free of charge from our lifeguards but must be reserved to ensure availability We are conveniently located to walk to all of Dewey Beach for dining and entertainment Dewey Beach is a wonderful place to come to with your family or friends. We are one of the few properties in Dewey that offers a huge, fenced backyard Walk to great restaurants and nightlife but be far enough away to not have the noise The rates quoted are for up to six people with an additional charge of $60.00 per night per person for up to two additional. PLEASE NOTE: This apartment will only sleep up to eight people. OCCUPANCY IS STRICTLY ENFORCED. Sorry, I must post this due to a few reservations that understate how many guests there are and then have more show up. I want everyone to be aware of the rules. Having more guests than stated will result in you being asked to leave with no return of money paid and being charged for each additional person. Overoccupancy places us at risk of losing our rental license. Failure to commence tenancy will result in the loss of any money paid and any balance will be due to the owner. See the online agreement for complete details. Our TVs are Firestick and Roku. We ask that you do not download any movies or apps that have a fee unless the fee is charged to your account. If you have Netflix, you may sign into your account to watch. Any charges that get billed to us will need to be reimbursed to us. There is always a notice informing you of any charges before you download. In the event of power outages, loss of cable, internet, appliances, tv failure, or any offered amenity, there will be no reduction in rent. A technician will be called ASAP. Check-in time is 4:00 PM (NO EXCEPTIONS). Our cleaners have this window of time to get our apartments ready for the next guest. Late check-out after 10:30 am will result in the charge of an additional day. This extra time is needed to get everything done to ensure everything is ready for the next guest. We offer a DOG-FRIENDLY ONLY apartment (sorry, no cats due to allergies, no birds, reptiles, snakes, monkeys, miniature ponies, pigs, etc) accommodations for approved dogs (pet fee of $40 per night/per dog applies)!!! Dewey Beach is pet-friendly for dogs on the beach before 9:30 AM and after 5:30 PM during the summer season and any time after September 15th – May 15th. We are the ONLY beach town in Delaware that does allow dogs on the beach in summer. We will provide a copy of our pet rules. Dogs must have a Dewey Beach dog license which may be purchased at the town hall at 105 Rodney Ave., YOU MUST LET US KNOW IF YOU ARE BRINGING A DOG PRIOR TO COMING!! Showing up with a dog without notice will result in doubling the pet fee. Please note: our pet fee is per dog per day-night so if you are bringing more than one dog you will be invoiced for any dogs since VRBO doesn't have a way to select the number of dogs coming. No dogs are allowed on or in the property unless the fee is paid. Now that Covid-19 is not as bad, our beds will again have mattress pads, pillows, and our beachy comforter sets. You will need to bring your own linens and towels as we do not supply them. if you don't wish to bring them, we can provide linens and towels for a fee. You are accepting our rental agreement by reserving. Please read it over carefully. We do require a signed copy of our agreement. Your safety is our main concern, and every effort is being made to make your stay as comfortable and worry-free as possible. There are security cameras in place for your security. WHAT TO BRING: Dish Clothes, Dish Towels, paper products, trash bags, soap, bath towels, sheets, washcloths & toiletries. Please bring appropriately sized sheet sets. This apartment has one queen bed, two twin beds, and two full size beds. CLEANING: We take pride in offering a very clean nonsmoking apartment and appreciate your care to make sure it stays that way. We have cleaners come in after each guest leaves to make sure everything is ready for the next guest. You are expected to perform normal everyday cleaning, take out the trash, run the dishwasher, and put the clean dishes away. It is the responsibility of the GUESTS to make sure the apartment is left in the same condition as found. Additional cleaning will be charged additional fees. WIRELESS INTERNET is provided by an outside company and is free of charge. While this service is provided it is not guaranteed and we are not responsible should it not be available or for any problems that may occur from its use. Enjoy having an ocean view from the living room, a fully stocked kitchen with everything you need for your cooking needs (except the food) including a small wicker table and chairs and an eat-at breakfast bar, two queen bedrooms, and a bath. This apartment has a keyless entry so no need to keep up with keys. It is VRBO 310004. We do rent for Greyhounds Reach the Beach for the April and October events as well as Doodle Week. We rent SENIOR WEEK with notarized parental signatures. Senior Week is a full week only. There was a great backyard in addition to being just the third house from the beach.It was only room air conditioners which may not be to everyones liking but they were sufficient. Our dogs just loved the property and the location. The decor is plentiful but is what we call beach rustic. Yet they have done a great job. I only gave it a four stars because I thought the overall paid was a little high and there is only one full bath for 3 br apt.However there are two showers outside for coming from the beach. The landlords are nice, but they live right upstairs, so they are always around. The house was a bit musty—mold and mildew were growing on the walls. This is definitely not good for anyone with respiratory or allergy issues—my son got sick. The temperature is very difficult to control—the AC comes in from the third floor, and there are also window units—more cold than hot, which is good, I guess. Backyard while nice, attracts many bugs/ flying insects due to pond/ fountain making it very buggy. There was a leak from the ceiling into one bedroom and the kitchen. Very old looking inside and not bright enough lighting at nighttime. While convenient, have rented better places in Dewey for sure. We absolutely loved their home and cannot say enough about it. It was very clean and spacious. I think the beds were the most comfortable beds we have ever slept on at the beach and we go away every year. The backyard was so amazing. Our dog loved their dog Mollie and is so sad to be back home. We all enjoyed our stay so much, we didn’t want to leave. You can’t beat the location as well. All of our friends are now fighting over who is going to rent it next time. We are so happy that we made lifelong friends with Dell and Larry as well. ##### Seana D. The kitchen was well equipped. The big fenced in backyard was fantastic and it was great to have since we brought our dog. The owners were so friendly and responsive. There are certain things that could be done to make the house better\*, but overall it met our needs. The location can’t be beat and we would come back. The backyard area was also fabulous. \*It’s got a lot of extra decor, fake plants, and furniture that take up space needlessly and make moving in our stuff for an extended stay (with babies) a bit of a pain. There was also a large stain on the living room wall that looks like mold but might just be water damage or old wallpaper glue. Regardless, a little Killz and paint and it would not have been a second thought for us when we started getting a little stuffy. Small rugs/mats could use to be washed. Apt A was perfect for the 6 of us and our 2 dogs. The yard is huge with tables and chairs, outdoor showers, horseshoes, a big fire pit, gorgeous flowers and comfy cushions on the deck. Very clean with comfy beds. Great kitchen with everything you need. New washer/dryer! We didn’t want to leave, and can’t wait to return again. It was right on the beach and in the center of dewey, right near all the restaurants, shops, and bars. The apartment itself was cozy and so nicely decorated. The real treat was the backyard, which featured two powerful outdoor showers, a campfire pit, and three gas grills. We were able to have a little mini barbecue and everything! The landlords are absolutely excellent, very respectful of privacy but right upstairs if you need anything. They even helped us get a fire started. I would definitely recommend staying here if you are looking for a great place for your next beach vacation! ##### Leor N. It was absolutely beautiful and only steps from the beach. The house was clean, spacious and our hosts were very kind. The backyard is definitely the best part of the house. It's very spacious, has an awesome fire-pit, mosquito torches, benches, grills, and more. Great for a weekend barbecue. The bedrooms are small but clean and very nice. The kitchen is renovated.
