« We stayed at The Motown Way House in Detroit over 4th of July weekend 2025 with our large family group, and it was absolutely perfect. There was plenty of space — lots of bedrooms, beds, and bathrooms — so everyone was comfortable the entire time. Having two kitchens and two dining areas made mealtime easy, even with a big crowd.But what really made this stay special was the vibe. The home is true to its name — full of fun, nostalgic Motown-era touches that everyone loved. We had so much fun...

« Everything was better than described! The place was comfortable and clean, and the location was perfect. We were downtown in less than ten minutes easily. Also, the surrounding area was nice, and we found a couple of coffee shops nearby to chill and unwind. We will definitely be staying here again when we are back in Detroit. »

« Easy to get to the house, many houses on the street were in differing stages of renovation, very quiet neighborhood, we were 10 minutes by car from downtown Detroit. House is well furnished and equipped. Bedrooms are very roomy. Would have liked to open a bedroom window at night, but could not, they may be painted shut. No bathroom on the main level, so you have to go upstairs or downstairs. The stairs going to the 2nd floor, have a hand rail going just half way up. Really need a railing...

« Our today was perfect for our speech and debate team while we were there for a week I think National forensic Association National Tournament hosted by Wayne State. Century located in downtown Detroit this home was perfect for the eight of us with enough space for sleep and enjoyment. Highly recommend »

« Gave it a perfect ranking because we loved it, nothing in notes would stop us from staying there again. We hope the details help future renters.Kitchen is WELL stocked with plates & pans. Fewer forks/spoons but still 8ish. Most utensils, no cheese grater, no zip locks. Working dishwasher and microwave, fridge was about 3/4 size but enough for 6 people over a week. Coop grocery 2 socks away, cute and awesome.. Some restaurants but more near Wayne State U about a mile south. Wifi only worked for 1...

« This home was the perfect place to stay for our group of friends to explore Detroit: well equipped with amenities, ample parking, walking distance to the Motown museum, and 10 minute drive to anywhere downtown.
