With easy access to SE Michigan's best restaurants, shopping, coffee shops, and more, this is the perfect place for any gathering or getaway! Optimized for Work-From-Home, our house features a dual-monitor setup with a USB-C dock, keyboard, and mouse so you can be as productive here as in your office! And, after you can enjoy a home-cooked meal with family and friends in our gorgeous modern kitchen! The ground level has a half bath along with the kitchen, living room, dining room, and an office/ bedroom with a fold-down murphy bed. The second floor features four (4) bedrooms, one of which is a primary suite including a bathroom. There's also a second full bathroom upstairs with a dual-sink vanity and bathtub. The finished basement has one bedroom, a full bathroom, our laundry machines, and a cozy, spacious entertaining area with a big TV and comfy couch. Arrive with Ease \_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_ Enjoy a seamless check-in experience with keyless digital access. Check-in anytime that fits your schedule, after 4:00 pm. For anyone who intends to have a party, disturb the neighborhood, or in any other way violate our house rules, we want to make clear that: We have a zero-tolerance policy for this. We have noise sensors that alert us if decibel levels pass a certain threshold, and we have unfortunately had to ask guests to leave for violating this rule. Being a good neighbor of the city and the block we are on is very important to us. We have sensors to detect indoor smoking (nicotine and marijuana) and have an automatic $750 fine for violations, and have also had to ask guests to leave early for violating this rule. Parking \_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_ We have a garage that fits two (2) cars and our driveway in front of the garage which fits 2-3 cars as well. Entry \_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_ The house is fully accessible via a YALE smart lock at the front door and on the side kitchen door. To access the house, enter the code we provide in your reservation check-in instructions, and press the CHECK to unlock. When leaving, enter that same code followed by the CHECK mark and the deadbolt will close. The locks will also auto-lock after one minute if you forget to lock. Extra Sleeping Arrangements \_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_ Air Mattress: Designed for camping, our air mattress is extra-sturdy and provides a wonderful sleeping space for two. To inflate, please plug in the pump and wait for it to charge. Once the light on it is solid (not blinking), unplug the pump, insert the end into the air mattress, and flip the switch to inflate. Our Neighborhood \_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_ This house is well-located for access to I-94, meaning quick access to the whole Detroit Metro area from downtown Birmingham down to Royal Oak and nearby cities including Clawson and Ferndale. The house is also only a thirty-minute drive to Michigan Avenue and all of Detroit’s best amenities. House Rules \_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_ We love hosting folks, so we want to be as respectful as possible to our wonderful neighbors. Since we’re in a quiet neighborhood, we do ask that you follow a few easy rules: \- No parties & no overnight guests without prior approval. If you’re looking to host a small gathering, that’s probably ok but please let us know. \- Respectful, quiet volume, particularly after 9 pm. \- Please leave your shoes at the door. \- No pets please, as many of the guests we host have allergies. \- No smoking - also, don't discard your cigarettes in house trash cans. They get stinky. \- If you break or damage something, please let us know and arrange for its replacement or repair. \- Do not leave any food out that will attract uninvited pests. Our home is pest-free and we intend to keep it that way with your help. Getting Around \_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_ While access to public transportation is not easily available from our house, UBER and LYFT run consistently in the area and are quick, cheap, and accessible options to get anywhere in the Clinton Township/Sterling Heights//Detroit and Plymouth/Northville/Canton and nearby areas!
