Additionally, the kitchen was poorly stocked. The only way to boil water for coffee or tea was with scratched Teflon pots. Actually, there were only 2 scratched Teflon pots for any kind of cooking, and scratched Teflon is a know health hazard. Additionally, the property is not as depicted in the profile. The aerial exterior view and the "property grounds" are not pics of this property. Those are from about a half mile away of a commercial strip (with residential lofts upstairs) and a public park. This place is on a busy section of the street with a concrete parking lot in back. It's not in the part of town the pics imply it is, though you can walk there in about 10 mins. But if you want to chill out in a quiet apartment, this isnt the place. But it is a good location if you want to walk places. ##### catherine a. For us, the VRBO had all of the necessities. It was clean and the decor and furniture were comfortable. The A/C worked well (90+ degrees while we were there). As others said in their reviews, you will hear a train now and then, but that did not bother us. The house is located on a 4-lane street across from an auto shop, which was fine for us as we did not plan to spend time outside in a yard. It has characteristics of a old house: small bathroom & kitchen, sloped floors, etc. It is clean and comfortable though.
