"A wonderful hotel. To my surprise EVERYTHING about it was perfect. A new hotel that proudly showed its spotlessly clean maintenance. A great location. Very lavish breakfast. This hotel had everything I needed. My compliments to every staff member I met with especially more so to Angelina and Zakir who demonstrated ownership of the vision of East Star Hotel top management. They are the ones who will make me come back once again. They set a bar so high that seasoned hoteliers will be hard pressed to follow. Thank you, dear friends. "

"Hotel is in prime location, just a short walk to key attractions in Khiva. Check in was a breeze as the staff instantly knew that i have a booking. The hotel feels modern, and the room is nicely decorated and clean. The photos I took didn't look as pretty as the actual. Cars are not able to park directly in front of the hotel because the "main road" which leads to the attractions are only for carts and bicycles but not for vehicles. It's a short walk of less than 5mins to the (car accessible) road so it's not much of an issue. On our last day, the staff of the hotel helped to bring our luggage all the way to the car which takes us to the train station. We are happy with our stay at Sangzor."

"Wonderful hotel with delicious breakfasts including freshly cooked eggs to order and real coffee. Good location with a 15 minute walk through parks to the Registan. Staff were excellent with good English. The only slight negative was that the bathroom ventilation was poor, and when we mentioned that to the manager, he moved us to another better room with a much better bathroom. Excellent service!"

"First they gave us rooms in old wings which were very small and stinking Then they shifted to the new wing were they had only heated AC provision The room was so hot and suffocated We went and told them they said we don’t have cooling syste"
