"Amazing staff!! The hotel food was very good and reasonable. The location is walkable to shopping at a high end mall with great restaurant options. Room was great with new furniture and everything needed in the kitchen for basic meals!! The pool and beach area had plenty of seating (August visit). Again, the service from the staff is amazing!! The best part of our visit was the awesome sea turtle conservation program at the property. We saw 8-9 loggerhead turtles build their nest then return to sea. We haven’t been to Cancun in 20 years, but we were surprised at how nice it is now. Definitely going back and staying at this property again. "

"What an amazing experience at Gran Hotel. From the moment you step in the lobby you'll be welcomed by one of the ushers that take care of guests. For us it was Isaías that showed us around and took us to our room. We had a zócalo view and the room was beautiful. We got a champagne welcome and received a bottle of wine and a custom made desert plate with our name on it written in chocolate in our room. Thank you to all of the personnel that made our stay so comfortable. "
