Highlights included the beautiful beach, pools, and drinks. There was lots to do and we never felt bored. Our toddler had an absolute blast playing in the pools, building sand castles, and dancing at the live music shows. The food was better than we’d expected. We felt the buffet food could be improved, but we really enjoyed all the meals we had at the restaurants. The check-in process was a bit confusing and it took longer than we would’ve liked to get our room, but overall the service was good. Staff checked in with us regularly to ask if there was anything we needed and followed up promptly on our requests. Overall we had a fantastic stay and would recommend, especially to families with young children." We were especially impressed by how helpful and friendly everyone was. We stayed in a Flate Swim Up Suite. The room was huge with sliding doors that closed between the bedroom and living space. It felt like we had two completely separate bedrooms with a huge bathroom. The swim up option was great for slow mornings or a bit of down time late in the day. We were able to interact with SO many characters. I was impressed that the Nickelodeon recreation staff would offer to take photos with our phones to avoid having to purchase the pictures from the professional photographer. Although there were lots of people around, the resort never felt overly packed and we were able to do and see everything we wanted. There were always chairs available at the pool/beach/waterpark and people naturally coming and going throughout the day. I understand why reviewers are hard on the food. It wasn't great but there were always options. The a la carte restaurants were fine but we stuck to the buffet for the most part so we weren't tied to a specific reservation time to eat. My advice - pay the extra and GET SLIMED! The experience was so fun and memorable for the kids and adults alike. Once again - the staff took my phone and videoed the whole thing so we have it to keep. So fun!"
