Dining buffets were diverse and the staff were excellent and hospitable. Beach acces was spectacular. The pool was good but a little to shallow for me. The one thing put me a little off was that they provide driver accommodation but the driver accommodation was poor at best. My driver reported the A/C had been removed and the fans were sub par that they had to put buckets of cool water to keep the room cool enough to sleep. In the heat of Sri Lanka, I would not have put my driver in such accommodation." After dinner we enjoyed the ping pong and pool table which helped entertain our family. The swimming pool was sublime. The gardens, pathways and trees leading down to the beach were well kept and helped support a relaxing atmosphere. The bedrooms had everything we needed as well as incredibly comfortable beds - quiet, with the added bonus of a balcony. We loved our family holiday! The only thing we thought needed improving was the bar. It was not a relaxing place to sit and had uncomfortable chairs. If there had been a place to chill out comfortably with ambient music where we could purchase drinks and icecream - that would have been ideal. Hopefully, this could be incorporated into the rebuild of the beach bar.
