"Good property for a short stay in Kandy. Roof top pool is small but very clean. Room is good, A/C works well and staff very friendly. Not great if you have a disability as you need to climb 2 floors before the elevator is accessible "

"I would have liked to see more vegetarian/vegan options on the dinner buffets. Location is about 15min from Kandy downtown -- depending on traffic this could be even longer. However, if you are looking for quite location this is perfect. "

"We only stayed for 1 night but would definitely recommend the Hotel Sigiriya and would stay here again should the opportunity present itself. Nice, clean and spacious rooms. The staff, especially at the restaurant (we had a bbq dinner buffet and breakfast buffet the next morning) were amazing. So friendly, courteous and helpful. The pool and pool views of the rock were great too! "

"Very expensive stay for not much facilities. Staff barely able to understand requests. No timely answers for queries before we arrived at the property. Staff do not go out of the way to make your experience pleasant at all. Breakfast was below average. For the expensive pricing, you would expect a better spread, but no. Cleanliness of property is also below average when you compare with similar properties in the price range."

"Enjoyed staying here. We had the suit so I cannot comment on the other rooms as I see some reviews shows the rooms are bit on the smaller side. We had a nice spacious clean room overlooking the mountains. The food was amazing and service was great ! They have parking on site with security. We definitely will be back. "
