The place has really grown in that time. Destin has added more shops, restaurants, and hotels. But Holiday Isle is a quiet spot away from all the crowds of the giant condo buildings. Miramar was super crowded but Holiday Isle was quiet and serene, and not crowded at all. I would say get your groceries on the way in and don't go back out unless you want some really great food. Island Club has a great location. Internet worked perfectly. The smart TV was very smart and very large. The rooms were OK, but not big. The kitchen was ok, but not the kind to do a lot of family cooking (ok by us since we didn't really want to cook more than breakfast and a sandwich for lunch). The walk to the beach was not far at all. Be careful when you are looking at units as some don't have washer/dryers and some have twin beds instead of Queens/kings. There were a lot of families with small kids which made a happy sound of kids having fun. Our unit had a view of the Pass which was fun to watch the boats. Nice balcony too. ##### Lee c.
