Beds were comfortable and showers were clean and worked well. Nice beach vibe to the decor. If I was going to say anything to improve it would be to have softer towells ( very minor issue). It was very convenient having the Tiki bar on site & the beach service from the Tiki bar as we sat under our umbrellas on the beach! This was our 3rd time staying at Pelican Beach Resort and our first time on the top floor! At first I got the Willie’s when I looked over the balcony but after a few minutes I was well adjusted and spent a lot of time with my binoculars watching the ocean. We did see a dolphins leading a boat which was beautiful. We seen a few sting rays from above one was HUGE such a cool experience. Overall this place is 10 stars! From the view to the tiki bar all the way down to the chair rentals. I had an amazing time letting the ocean throw me around like a rag doll and I can’t wait until our next visit. Also. Nov 5, 2023 Liked: Cleanliness, location Disliked: Check-in, communication, listing accuracy #### Do not stay here false advertising Starting with the fact we received an email 1 week prior to checking in that there would be construction the entire week we were there, didn’t start our vacay great considering we could not get a refund to go somewhere else. I mean you cannot tell me the property mgmt company or the HOA didn’t know about this in the summer! The bed was like concrete, rug worn through, bathrooms, disgusting (hair on wall, dirt). The “dishes” were disgusting. The couch had who knows what kind of stain, the balcony had bird poop all over it that we had to clean it just to sit outside. A lot of money for subpar accommodations. The one shining light thru this nightmare was the staff on site, the cafe and their workers and the tiki hut staff, 5+ stars!!! Super friendly, great food and drinks and funny as all get out! Great property, horrible condo

The view from this condo was AMAZING! We spent so much time out on the balcony just watching the waves. My kids loved the bunk beds, although I was a little unsure of the railing on the top bunk. It was very loose. The master bedroom bed was comfortable and the dresser was big enough for our whole family’s clothes. There were a few issues. Not a fault of this unit, but the elevators were awful. There were 5 of them and at least one was always broken. The waits could take forever sometimes. At one point, the call buttons for the bank of 4 elevators together weren’t working, so everyone had to use the single outdoor elevator. In the unit, the microwave started tripping the breaker halfway through our stay. We notified property management, but didn’t want to wait for someone to come fix it, so we were without a microwave for a day. Property management is very quick at responding to issues. Lastly, I went to fill up the bathtub in the master and the water had so much dirt/black stuff floating in it. I don’t know if it was a water problem or dirty tub problem, but we all used the stand up shower the whole trip. Overall, our stay was great. The resort is awesome, with 3 pools and hot tubs, a tiki bar, cafe, beautiful beach, and parking garage. We’d definitely stay at Pelican Beach again. ##### Lacy U.
