Located on the Emerald Coast, the sands here are naturally formed from quartz and are the softest and prettiest in the world. Our condo is in the east wing of the resort with a direct view of the Gulf. Enjoy the wildlife Destin has to offer right from your balcony, including dolphins, pelicans, and fish eagles as they play and feed throughout the day. Your private balcony provides a beautiful view of the beach which is just steps away. Once you reach the sand, you’ll be equipped with your own private chairs and umbrellas to stay cool. Unit 509 is non-smoking and has recently been fully renovated including all new furniture, flat screen TV's, bedding, and custom-made coastal metal wall décor. The entire condo is freshly painted and sports fun coastal colors throughout the unit. The kitchen is a chef's delight with all new custom cabinetry and modern lighting. The kitchen also sports custom granite counter tops with all new stainless-steel appliances. The refrigerator is brand new with an excellent filtered ice maker and water dispenser. You can watch the living room’s 60" flat screen from the dining area, which has seating for 6\. The master bedroom has a 43" TV with an ensuite bathroom that features walk-in shower w/seat and double vanity. The guest bathroom has been updated as well to match the exquisite coastal theme of the entire condo. This rental accommodates 6 people with a king in the master, a twin & queen in the guest, and a brand-new leather queen-sized sleeper sofa with a premium mattress in the living room. The new lighting and tile throughout with luxury vinyl flank in the bedrooms completes this attractive condo. This resort is tucked away on Holiday Isle where you will enjoy the privacy and tranquility of being off the beaten path of Hwy 98\. Only 5 minutes away, you’ll find an abundance of incredible restaurants, grocery stores and liquor stores. This condo will be your home away from home with everything you need and much more, less than 5 minutes away. If you have children, do not hesitate to bring them along, as the resort offers plenty of kid friendly activities that include dive-in-movies, kid tattoos, artist easel painting, and face painting; the list goes on and on. The resort offers private pools, hot tubs and tennis courts, along with an array of recreational activities on the beach. For the more adventurous, the infamous Crab Island is literally in your backyard, and boat rentals are prevalent. Over the years, I have recommended The Islander to friends and relatives, and I know several who have stayed there. It is such a nice location and has always been so well-maintained and updated. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We loved staying here. the unit was very clean and efficient. My only complaint about it is that I feel like there should be a few more things in these units, like coffee filters, salt and pepper, a few other spices, better ice maker,can opener that works,foil, baggies,etc. Those things are expensive and then you just have to leave them to be thrown out.Also, more paper towels, toilet paper.The fitness room should have a water source and another treadmill,because a permanent resident uses it every morning for 2 hours. Both of these were nice touches that improved our stay. However, our condo had a horrible smoke smell. It smelled like it had been smoked in and attempted to have been covered up. Drove our allergies crazy our entire stay which had us all miserable. We were also told that we could not get additional linens or fresh towels because of the days our stay was for, said we missed “linen day”. This was the most ridiculous thing I had ever heard while staying at a paid for establishment! On top of this, the only elevator at the entire resort was out of order, which made EVERYTHING we did take significantly longer than it should have. Jul 18, 2023 #### Not returning to Islander Rating Details: The property manager was very unhelpful. The vacation rental was somewhat dirty. I was somewhat unhappy with the location. I was very dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We arrived to ride front desk staff. One working elevator that’s was extremely slow. Took 1 hour to get all of our stuff to room. The room was nice although most cabinets locked by owner so you didn’t have a lot of room to your stuff. Longer walk to beach than i thought but it was fine. Once we got to beach first day no chairs and umbrellas available. I was told to go at 9am by staff and welcome paper. Each room states free chairs and umbrella but it’s limited amount which no one stated. We had to get up at 6:30 everyday after to get a chair.
