SunDestin 0112 by Scenic Stays CONSTRUCTION UPDATE: AMENITY CLOSINGS EFFECTIVE OCTOBER 27, 2025 SunDestin Beach Resort is currently undergoing exterior construction around the property. The indoor pool, outdoor pool, and on-site restaurant are projected to be closed until the beginning of January 2026. Please be aware that construction activity may result in noise between 8:00 AM and 5:00 PM daily. Our goal is to keep you informed ahead of time so you can make the most of your stay with us. Parking in the main lot may be limited. Please note that the drive-through area at the main lobby entrance, typically used for loading and unloading luggage, may be temporarily closed. Each one-and two-bedroom condo is allowed one vehicle only. Any additional cars will need to park in the overflow lot across the street. We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience this may cause and appreciate your patience and understanding as the resort works to improve and enhance the overall guest experience. SunDestin Unit 0112 is a gorgeous two bedroom, two bathroom, ground-floor condo accommodating up to nine. Ease into this inviting, open-concept retreat featuring a calm palette, plush furnishings, and distinctive decor. Prepare snacks for the whole crew in the spacious, fully-appointed kitchen loaded with plenty of cabinet and counter space. Gather for meals at the breakfast bar with seating for three or around the dining table comfortably accommodating six. Convene in the living room on cozy furniture and, with three flat-screen TV’s in the unit, everyone can watch whatever they want wherever they want. All will appreciate the many private spaces in the unit and easy access to the beach. Abundant sleeping arrangements include a queen sleeper sofa in the living room, twin beds in the guest room, twin over double-bunk bed in the bunk room, and a king-sized bed in the master suite! From coastal eateries and tropical cocktails to plentiful shopping and endless boating excursions, you’ll find it all at HarborWalk Marina in the Destin harbor just five minutes away! Guests under 22 must be accompanied by an adult chaperone throughout their stay. Pets are unfortunately not welcome and are subject to immediate departure if found to be inhabiting a property. It was our first stay here and we couldn’t have asked for more. Plenty of towels for the week. Easy pool and hot tub and splash pad access. Beautiful decor. The pillows were a little too soft, we had to use 3-4 to not be flat, and the washer and dryer was a little more expensive than we thought. We also thought the attraction tickets would be full tickets but they were just discounts. But we didn’t mind, it was overall a great experience. Our condo was conveniently located on the first floor in front of the splash pad. This was perfect as we had 5 children (2 under 1) and we didn’t have to worry about waiting on an elevator. We were also able to let the bigger kids play on the splash pad while we sat on the porch. Quick walk to the beach. The Track and Big Kahuna right down the road as well as numerous restaurants. There are a few thing that could be done for improvement though. Only half the outlets worked in our condo which was inconvenient. Beds were worn and need to be updated. We actually went out and bought a mattress topper. The refrigerator freezer was finicky. We were there for 4 nights and I put popsicles in there the first day and they still never froze. I also put 2 water bottles in at the same time and only 1 froze. It was odd. Tubberware would have been helpful. One of the drains in the bathroom did not drain well. My main complaint is the parking situation. Only 1 vehicle was allowed to park at the resort. Our 2nd vehicle (2 families) had to park across and down the street in a sketchy gravel parking lot with no security. The main parking lot had plenty of spaces but we were still told the 2nd vehicle still had to park down the road or would be towed. This was really a hassle with small children and the rain. Also, they were seriously understaffed at the restaurant & bar. I waited close to an hour for a drink because the bartender had to help in the kitchen too. He was wonderful and very apologetic but they should have been better staffed during the SUMMER in Destin on the beach. I came here with some girl friends for a bachelorette trip and we thoroughly enjoyed it. The place was in the perfect location close to everything. It was very clean and comfortable. The kitchen was well stocked and the floor level was perfect for us. We were just a step out of the back door to the indoor /outdoor pool, jacuzzi, and beach access. Booking our room last minute after some issues with another condo elsewhere was a breeze, AND we got a better rate! Waffle House right across the street was the icing on the cake for late nights.
