This unit is not for someone who likes to cook as itā€™s kitchen, appliances and accessories are very dated. It could use some updates in the bathrooms and some TLC in some other areas. My husband and I spent Labor Day week with my mother, brother, and nephew for our annual beach getaway. The beautiful beach house is perfectly sized with plenty of space to relax and spread out. The patio area provides a beautiful view of the Gulf, and the stroll down the very short path to the beach makes it perfectly located for ease. While we opted to rent chairs and umbrellas on the beach (which is private and extremely comfortable - no space intrusion!) - there are chairs, umbrellas, and beach toys ready for your enjoyment in the shed. There are outdoor showers at the top of the beach path, making it easy to wash off the sand before trekking it in with you, and a foot rinse off the patio by the shed to help rinse your feet and each items. The complex is also located across the street from the grocery store and shopping center, which was super convenient. The owner and rental property were extremely helpful and friendly as well, making it a pleasurable and stress free experience. Our stay was great. The kitchen was well stocked for cooking . The guest closet with beach items was also great. While sitting outside we did have a family member sit in one of the plastic chairs and it broke.... the person is not large but the chair was very brittle. No injuries ... We enjoyed the beach daily... the surf was yellow flag most days but the weather was really good. We would definitely stay at this property again. If this place states capacity is 10, there should be supplies to accommodate those ten individuals. Ten coffee cups, towels should be at a par of 20 and heavier blankets on the beds. The ceiling fan is wired in with the lights in the living room. If the lights are off then the fan is too. We loved the location and will stay again. Very close to the tennis / pickleball courts. Great location if you have dogs as well for the unit backs to a decent amount of grass with some privacy. The home itself needs some upgrades, the master shower was dirty upon arrival, walls, doors, towel racks, outlets are pretty dirty, paint is peeling and chipping all over the doors and frames. The kitchen is missing very basic things - scissors, salt and pepper, dish sponge, foil. The master bed is the most uncomfortable bed I have ever laid on, it's shocking they haven't replaced it yet and every move you make it makes so much noise. The tennis courts are not maintained very well. We plan to come back semi annually for a week trip to Destin, we will be looking at another location for our next trip. ##### Lacy B. Clean, kid friendly, easy parking. No beach service for this unit. I didnā€™t realize going into it that this would be a problem but it was a little hard to find a spot behind the chairs that allowed a view of the water so that we could keep an eye on the kids. We ended up with 7 in the house and it was tight but manageable. We absolutely loved the location of this condo & the stunning private beach with dedicated chair service! The condo was spacious, quiet, and clean. Plenty of room for our group of 5. We only had one neighbor and we never heard them. We visited one of the pools and it was well maintained. If you need anything, thereā€™s a grocery store, gas station, pharmacy, and gift shop within a 5 min drive. A few areas of opportunity would be the floors, beds, and listing description. The condo was clean but the floors were filthy. The bottoms of our feet were black from the first day so we had to wear socks for the rest of the stay. The beds werenā€™t rock hard but they werenā€™t very comfortable for an extended stay. They were also super noisy. Anytime my husband moved in the night the noise would wake me up. The beach is close to the unit, not 50 steps as stated, but still only a short walk. Also, the listing didnā€™t state things that were included with the unit such as a hair dryer and blender. The unit ended up being really well stocked with just about anything you would need so a quick listing update would help travelers pack accordingly. Overall, itā€™s a great condo and even better location and beach! Perfect for a family, group of friends traveling, or even a couple taking a beach vacay.
