Sol Dorado is a luxury, gulf-front vacation house in Destin, FL, located directly on the beach. The home offers seven bedrooms, two bunk nooks, and seven and a half bathrooms. The sleeping total for the property is 22 with five king suites, two guest suites with two queen beds in each, and two bunk nooks ideal for kids.

In addition to having the beach right in your backyard, there is also a private pool and covered patio space. Four outdoor decks ensure that you'll enjoy the sweeping Gulf views from every floor. Inside the home are new, designer furnishings and open floor plan layouts that make the homes spacious and inviting for even the largest vacationing groups. Other special features of the home include an in-home elevator, flat screen TVs in all the bedrooms, and private bathrooms for each room. The home is also pet-friendly for up to two small dogs, with payment of the pet fee.

Sol Dorado is a partial unit in the Luna Sol duplex, which can be rented together with Luna Plata to sleep a total of 44 guests!

This vacation house in Destin, FL is 0.6 mile from The Crab Trap Destin, 1.9 miles from the Destin Commons shopping and entertainment hub and movie theater, 1 mile from Regatta Bay Golf Club, and is nearby to many other Destin attractions! To help you enjoy the activities, Five Star provides two sets of beach chairs (March-October) and 4 bicycles.

Paradise!

If you want a beautiful place with a beautiful view it’s here! Very roomy with enough king beds & bathrooms to be comfortable. The kitchen is nicely updated with an ice maker, which was a nice addition. The best is your just steps to the best beach experience ever!

Amazing Location

This was by far the best place we've stayed at in Destin. Love the layout of the property and it's amenities. The best part is the location!!! We will definitely be back next year.

Beautiful House and Location

We had 19 people in our group and the house is laid out well that we never felt crowded. Great location on the beach as well. We had some minor maintenance issues when we checked in but management was extremely quick to resolve them. We will definitely be back there.

We really enjoyed our stay overall. We did have some issues (1) elevator did not work (2) small black ants on counter (3) sink and tub on top floor did not drain well (4)issue with oven tripping breaker (5) air conditioning on main floor did not work well the last 2 days.

Perfect Location

All in all, a great week. Check in/out process so easy. Beautiful home and location. Well-equipped kitchen and overall accommodations. Some negatives: 1. When we arrived, noticed the floors seemed dirty and we were reluctant to allow two toddlers play on the floor. 2. Encountered several cockroaches in the home. Might want to look into strategically place traps on all floors, especially in the kitchen. Seen on all three floors. 3. Several expressed complaints on the mattresses. Might want to replace. Very worn down giving sleepers no support. Bedding and pillows were very sufficient though. 4. Highly suggest another refrigerator be placed in the kitchen. Not near enough room for food and beverages for our family for the week.

All was good but the sofa was on the dirty side floors could have used a better mopping the shower head in bedroom on the kitchen floorwas a pain the shower head is not in the right place water would runn out on the floor the bed also could b updated only one refrigerator could use two with the place being so big the 2 sets of washer n dryers was great also might wantto check toilet paper holder in bedroom off the kitchen it was broke water pressure just so so upstairs 😖but over all pretty good

Great place

We stayed here with our entire family, 16 people, 3 little kids, 3 teenagers and it was perfect. It was very easy access to the beach and close to all eating and shopping.

Great space but could have been cleaner

Great experience when talking with management. Property was lovely. Problem was dusty and floors were not clean. The first few hours of arriving and walking about all of our feet bottoms were almost black. And we had babies with us. So we called management. They sent someone to reclamation floors. She used something similar to a swifter and basically redistributed the same dirt. I think the problem is with the cleaning crew. One of the showers had dirt in it. One of the masters had no towels. Coffee pots were dusty on top. Vent hood was dusty and grimey. Get new cleaning crew or they need more help.

Need to know...

The place was beautiful. The kitchen needed a light over the sink, some dish towels, large bowls, serving pieces. The bathrooms need more sets of towels. The 3rd floor laundry washer quit and had to be rebooted a couple of times and the dryer only stayed on when using timed dry. A couple of toilet seats were falling off.
