🏖️ BEACH SERVICES: Beach services at the Resorts of Pelican Beach are provided by La Dolce Vita (866-651-1869). Hours are 9 am to 5 pm from March 1st through October 31st. All beach services are managed by La Dolce Vita under agreement with the Pelican Beach Resort Owners' Association. Policies are applicable to all guests and owners of the resort. Beach setups may be rented directly on the beach the day of, based on availability. To reserve a beach setup in advance or for more information, please call 866-651-1869 or reserve online.  
  
Parking notes: There is free parking available for 2 vehicles.

Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). (A discount may be applied for stays of 28 nights or longer, if permitted.) The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. The Damage Waiver fee eliminates the need for a traditional security deposit.

#### Gee, Where do I start?

Dirty condoms on floors, dried food on kitchen floor, broken sofa bed, and sleeping on a king size bed for 5 nights with queen size sheets..... I will just leave it with that... Wow! This was certainly an experience I have NEVER had before and hope I never do again! I have stayed in 3rd world countries with better accommodations.

We were disappointed at the pungent smell we had upon entering the condo the entrance to it; like something dead or sewer, we had to hold our breath to get through that area where the washer and dryer were. We also had no water pressure in the shared bathroom, so we all used the one in master bath. The shower curtain in the master bath was moldy also. The area rug in the living room was curled at corners which could easily have tripped someone but we were fortunate. Otherwise the facility was very nice, the pool area was great and the short walk to the beach was fine.

Location was great. Highly disappointed with lack of cleanliness of condo. Unit smelled terrible, like wet dog, musty smelling. Water pressure in bathroom, terrible, very difficult to rinse off soap or shampoo. Few outlets in one of the bedrooms and kitchen were not working. Drapery and carpet had obvious stains. Would not stay here again nor recommend this unit following our stay.

We certainly enjoyed our stay other than a few minor things. Location was great, traffic was not! One could walk to most everything you would need. The beach walk was just a short stroll down the pathway. The first floor condo was amazing for us.

We had a nice 4 day getaway. We have a 10 year old who loves the ocean and we brought him to Destin when he was a baby. We now have a 3 month old and decided to continue the tradition. We had a nice little vacation together and the property provided just what we needed!

#### Good for price

The property is good for the price. While it is not directly on the beach, there is a shuttle that will drop you off closer to the beach (although the walk from the condo is pretty short). It is spacious, although the sofa sleeper should not be included as a place to sleep (my kids wound up just sleeping on the actual sofas). The condo is highly furnished with anything you could need in the kitchen. For the price, it is a good option.
