This 3rd-floor space is surrounded by windows and you can step out onto separate balconies with seating on the east and west sides -- take your pick of which view to enjoy - sunrise or sunset! Inside, there's a bistro table and chairs -- perfect for a game of cards or perhaps a quiet cup of coffee in the morning. The home is also equipped with Guardian in-duct air purifiers. CABANA BLUE-GUEST HOUSE Bedroom #5 QUEEN BEDROOM SUITE The Cabana Blue Suite features a QUEEN BED, flat screen TV/DVD, and a walk-in closet. The ensuite features a sink, commode and tub/shower combination. The adjacent Cabana Lounge offers a queen sleeper sofa, TV and fully equipped kitchenette: microwave, coffee maker, sink, mini-fridge, dishes, and dining table for 2-4\. Best of all, you can walk directly out to the pool from the bedroom or the lounge. PRIVATE POOL & OUTDOOR AREA The outdoor space of this home is simply amazing! The 12' x 24' private pool is surrounded by three levels of beautiful decks and pergola. With ample seating (lounge chairs and dining) throughout the space, your entire group can enjoy the sun or the shade. There's a large gas grill for you to prepare your favorite meals and plenty of tables and seating for poolside dining. And for your children's safety, there are alarms on the doors leading to the pool from the main house and the cabana house. Pool heat is available for an additional fee. There's also a Bluetooth connection to the poolside speakers in the living room. PET FRIENDLY We are pet friendly and welcome your dogs in our home. There is a $300 per dog extra fee and your dog must be pre-approved by the owner. Only dogs allowed (no other pets.) Please include the breed/size/age of your dogs in your inquiry for pre-approval. PERFECT BEACH LOCATION Crystal beach is mostly residential, which contributes to the quietness of the neighborhood. Only a few steps away is the Shirah Street beach access, and the much larger 'Shore at Crystal Beach Park' with a pavilion and bathrooms is only 2 half-blocks down from there at Hutchinson Street where you'll also find Camille's coffee shop and restaurant. We provide a cart with beach chairs and umbrella, so you can roll your gear to the beach with ease. Restaurants, activities, and entertainment are also close-by. Destin Commons, a beautiful upscale shopping and entertainment center, is less than a half-mile away. It features over 75 shops and restaurants, including Bass Pro Shop, World of Beer, Whole Foods Market, Panera Bread, Uncle Buck's Fish Bowl & Grill, AMC Theater with IMAX and much more. You can bicycle, scooter, Jet ski and go para-sailing all within walking distance. The Silver Sands Outlet mall is not far for those who enjoy “retail therapy”! OFF-STREET PARKING There's a sizeable driveway in front of the home which accommodates 3-5 cars (depending on size). There is no on-street parking in Destin. Aquilla is lovely and easy to communicate with. Decor is super dated. Beach is beautiful but the condos rope their areas off, so there is only a very, very small public area to use. The home had everything we needed and more. The backyard pool is a great place to spend the day. Wonderful location with the beach just steps away. The house was perfect. Shops were in walking distance although we rented a 6-passenger golf cart. The property manager was very accessible when we had a question. There was plenty of room, location was good & the kitchen was equipped with plenty of kitchenware. I would suggest adding extra bath towels & washcloths to avoid doing laundry every other day.
