Only con was that the floors were not clean. My four year old started walking around the apt with his bare feet and it was black a few minutes later. The check-in was really easy, the beach access was about 11 min walk but not so bad. There were a lot of things to do close by us. Check in was fast and the front desk lady was very through. It’s a larger property but she explained and marked a map very well so there were no issues parking and finding our way. The room was very clean and neat. The pool area is huge and we never felt crowded swimming and hanging out. We did have a small hiccup on our stay but Devin (one of the managers) jumped on it and took care of us, she was awesome! The unit was very surface clean but not deep cleaned at all. The shower had hair everywhere, the sofa’s were in bad condition and we had 3 roaches in the kitchen. The management company was extremely responsive and tried to help as much as they could but there wasn’t anything they could’ve done to make that eight. It's just a short walk or drive to the beach, and the pool was awesome. Every meal we ate at the Palms Grille was so good we opted to stay in and eat there and not go out for most of our meals. In a few words, "It felt like home". The owner obviously has a strong grasp of blending textures and solid materials in such a way they do not fight one another. As well as the solid construction of the unit and fixtures. Nothing seemed as though it would come of in your hand if you touched it. Likewise the rooms were quiet to each other. When doors were closed voices and TV noises from the other rooms were undetectable. The reception staff were spot on with there recommendations for restaurants and attractions, Likewise, al the support staff were pleasant, inviting, and very helpful and professional. My only complaint is that it did have a funky smell- it wasn’t terrible, just not pleasant. I read other reviews that the AC wasn’t cool enough, but it was fine for us, we’d keep the curtains closed during the day when we weren’t inside and it cooled down just great.
